Low health ships get way too much damage off a ram. It's funny how detailed the damage works with shells but they still havn't bothered to put much, if any, consideration into getting rammed from different angles or different parts of the ship doing more or less damage. For example, in the case in the video both ships should have taken very little damage as one was full reverse and the impact was the bows just bearly kissing at an angle that didn't threaten either ship's vitals.

Your push forced the Missouri and Shima to abandon me on my flank ( your right flank) so I was dealing with a 1 vs 4 for almost 8 minutes , I was fuming when the Shima decided to charge at you .
I caught the Somers and killed him , then had no choice but to ram a full health Veneto with my little hp left ( got focused hard by a Cleveland , and another BB ).
The Missouri panicked and kept running in circle in the cap.
The Veneto blundered , he should have used his smoke to get closer to you and avoid those salvos of 10k dmg .

Strangely enough did this yesterday too...in the Nelson...was doing ok but my team were so rubbish that an opposing Destroyer was able to sail right round the map and behind me and torp'ed me in the arse!

With ramming the speed difference increases damage that ram was 22 knot difference to reduce damage from ramming try and match their speed in the opposit direction their going forward you go back as fast as you can
Oh and the amount of how you have affects it I think
yup sometimes if ur at a good enough low speed, the ram won't be instant but slowly chunk off hp until u die, depending on the persons hp and who dies first

9:18 i hate when this happen with my friend like we are using battleship and just trying to have fun and win and shure enough a guy start to push and gets a kill on me or my friend by simply slamming his ship on one of ours
Before u fire, zoom out as far as u can and still be able to see the ships water line.. The shells seem to stay together better..

You will...eventually... even if you don't have a single relivant boost I think it's around 6 months or so to unlock a legendary. Just don't set your expectations too high. Yamato can be fun to play and can have good games but she's not the same since they troll-nerfed her dispersion. You can even see it in this video where many of Yamy's salvos go everywhere even at point blank range.

It needs teammates who can take advantage of you pulling enemies back to defend... but honestly I do it mainly for the fun factor

What tier 6 BB's would you guys recommend tech tree or premium.
It's the only tier I don't play much, but I'd like to as my friends who play this game are at tier 6 in their tech trees, and I don't want to fail division them-or be fail divisioned in a tier V.
I'm on the fence about most tier 6 BB's.
I’d choose the Sinop over any of em, if not the Sinop them the Colorado is probably the way to go just for the sake of unlocking the Iowa

I've got Iowa. I didn't particularly like Colorado when I went throught the first time, but maybe I'd be better with it now. Because that was before the game had even fully released.

If a destroyer is banking left and right just shoot down the middle you will hit him same rule applies to cruisers

the ram should be if they have 10k health it takes 10k of your health or 30k healthy for 30k health it makes more sense doing it that way

Is there away to angle against another Yamato
Only thing is to hope they shoot at your belt but if you angle there's a good chance they exploit the cheek weakness which is well known for easy citadels

Sorry Spartan but I disagree with you on the ram. If I'm in a ship which I'm going to lose in a straight up fight then my last duty is to do as much damage to the opponent as possible. Having a fully healthy BB ramming is daft, unless it's caught a DD or cruiser coming out from behind an island in which case go for it.
He could have survived that shot and got my broadside and Dev struck me
In my honest opinion when it comes to rams it should only take off the amount of hit points the lesser of the 2 ships has like if the veneto had 20k hit points when he rammed you that should be the amount that comes off your yami. And vice versa if you only had 20k and you ram him that should be the amount to come off both ships. That would deter people from ramming i think
That makes no sense. A big ship rams you and (let's say they have 1k hp left) you only lose 1k damage. That would make no sense.

Its kinda bullcrap that good players that have great games and keep most of their hit points gets taken out or the vast majority of their hit points wiped out by an amateur that cant play and just resorts to ramming someone when they know they cant win a 1 on 1 battle

How do you get the ship? I just started and nobody has said how to even get the ship in the first place
@@damontaylor2494 the legendary tier ships are available through the Bureau menu.
It takes a long time to research especially since you're new and don't have commanders and ships to speed up the process yet

I understand why you got so pissed of with that ram, but ngl, if I am in a fast and low hp bb I always do the same why. Its dirty sure, but good last second damage. Still I completely agree that it needs fixing. The fact that 1/4 health light cruisers can ram 1/2+ health battleships and both die is kinda stupid.
Yeah ramming should be overhauled
Spartan I am like you ramming needs to go it's not equal out come sometimes you die sometimes you 'll live from a ram. One time I had the Russian BB with 20k health left I went into full reverse when this Italian BB with full health decided to go for the ram. He had 2 more ship's pushing forwards with him American BB and a British cruiser so I dev strik the British cruiser the Italian BB dead from the ram finished off the half health American BB got two more kills and finished the game with 105k damage and a kraken he would have won the fight and won the game if he didn't go for the ram. I think ramming a ship's should. Do no damage or smaller chunks of health taken people seem to love to ram
I get a message last night that I was a cheater cause I dev strike the montana he was broadside vs my yamy 5 citadels gone

WOW turned Sea fighting into Jungle fighting.. It's not becoming. CAMPERS love this islands to hide behind & for running into while evading camper fire.. I don't play VS very much because of it.
Have mercy lol on mobile as sadly again all I have lol these guys ram persay all the time and they do little to no dmg.....and when ya do collide they slow and or change direction sure but move together regardless so they always roll as a squad and just try to hit same ship and follow through in said Fashion....slaughter one and move too the next.....but using the islands if ya have common sense lmao work well😮😂😅
they ruined this game putting legendaries in the matches with the ships that you actually have to earn, it's like premiums on steroids
