    Nice one casually cutting out the hardest part @ 3:59 🙃!! Here's a tip they don't give you in the video..
    When attaching the new cage, BEFORE attempting to re-tension the spring, slip the cage over the D-shaped lip at the base of the cage bolt, then rotate it counterclockwise until the D shape will turn no more. Lift the cage off the D shape and then turn it clockwise to tension it. This way you won't have to rotate it nearly as far to reach the cutout, & can spend less time wishing for a swift death.

    Do you need the "G Link" if you are doing an XPLR derailleur? The base range of the XPLR is much righer than the road ders.

      @RAP4EVERMRC96 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      XPLR is compatible according to garbaruk email support (super fast). Though XPLR is only compatible up to 44T max as stated by them! Therefore I guess the g link adapter or however it's is called is not needed.

      @@RAP4EVERMRC96 I don't really get what you mean: You say XPLR is only compatible up to 44T? That would be the original size so there would be no need to change to Gabaruk. I am actually trying to fit a 50T Cassette with my Sram Force XPLR tap AXS, and my chain jumps. I have installed the G Link - maybe I have to remove that?

      As stated by garbaruk one can pair the OSPW with XPLR derailleur to gain a more efficient drivetrain due to larger pulleys (see claims from ceramic speed etc.), BUT it doesn't extend the range of the derailleur due to its design. So even with OSPW (g link not supported) XPLR derailleur can do maximum 44T. @@mareiunterwegs4604

    to confirm, this will work on a Sram RED AXS derailleur as well?

      I can confirm that it does; I just installed it on mine.

      @@bebopman5 I'm very interested in this mod, but curious what kind of cassettes this mod is compatible with? Garbaruk only? May I ask what your setup is? I would Imagine the indexing on something like a 10-50 SRAM cassette to be different than a road cassette.

      @bebopman5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@youloveulises Sure, I’m using a 10-44T xplr cassette, but I’ll likely be moving to a 10-50 Eagle cassette once I go to a bigger front chainring. I will say, that a normal 12 speed chain doesn’t work well with my setup as of now, but I think that’s because of my cassette technically being a road version with tighter spacing, thus requiring a sram flattop chain. I can further verify this once I get the bigger cassette and try it out. But I can confirm this mod works with cassettes other than Garbaruk’s own.

      @@bebopman5 you're the man! I think I'll be ordering the cage and pulleys myself and using a spare XPLR cassette I have for now, but I'd really like the Eagle, and that's where I'm concerned with spacing. Let's see how this goes!

      @@bebopman5 Is it necessary to use goat link with 10-44T xplr cassette or it works without it, only with cage installed?

    hi ive just come across your crank arms and want to know if i can add a spider to them and fit a double chainset from praxis

    • @cameronl5155
      @cameronl5155 ปีที่แล้ว

      unfortunately they use a proprietary mount, and only make 1x chainrings for it, no spider or 2x available

      Hi!
      We have a text manual for installing our SRAM cage on a mechanical Eagle derailleur. The installation process is identical for mechanical/electrical SRAM derailleurs. Please visit garbaruk.com/manuals

      You're adding a goat link essentially with the kit. You can run it without, but you wont have full range of 50t
