We all know that hate spewing on the Internet is nothing new, and Connor definitely knows from being on the Internet for most of his life. Connor's point is that it's been getting particularly vile against Ironmouse and Vtubers in general, and is shining a light on it. Even TH-cam and Twitch seems to be against Vtubers.
After that vid was out, days later, Kai came to ironmouse in a happy mood to see her, he apologized about the shitshow that happened to her (even tho it's not his fault), he is planning to try Vtubing to see how it is I bet his fanbase feels more stupid now
What I hate about the "300 pound man in mom's basement" joke is that somehow being someone like that takes away the right to entertain people or be popular and loved by fans. "Yes, I demand from the safety of internet anonymity that you should drop your internet anonymity." If it works, it works, and it is nothing immoral, exploitative or illegal. Vtubing equalized the playing field for those that wanted to perform and entertain without losing their anonymity or exposing their physical appearance, and a lot of streamers who have nothing to offer but looks and their rabid fans dont know how to cope.
This level of hate is dumb, I wonder if it's some kind of projection. Might be some chasers that just want some fluffy muscle. Maybe they just need some love, IDK.
She and I both have the same health issues, so I can relate quite a bit. I am so glad the technology to allow her to put herself out there exists. I'd do it but I have damage to my vocal cords, so it's pretty hard for me to enunciate and whatnot, so I prefer to text. I don't know her age but I'm fairly certain I'm older at 36yo (yes I'm ancient, hush lol). Despite her being younger (assumption) I have to admit that she's inspirational & kinda a good role model. I hate how people these days are so dang hateful! You can do everything in life perfectly and still get attacked. I don't get it, I mean even if I very, very slightly hurt someone's feelings by accident, mind you (never on purpose), I feel this like, void, like a black hole in my stomach. Literally start feeling sick. If I were to be as cruel, hateful, etc as many are, even just once, I'd never be able to forgive myself. I literally get nauseous if I hurt someone's feeling by accident (weird). I'm glad she can afford healthcare now. I'm on disability & so few doctors accept Medicaid. If you want a psychologist who takes Medicaid, well... Give up. Been trying to find one who does for 4 years now, and in a 100 mile radius, but nope. It's messed up man. Plus my meds are shooting up in price & Medicaid keeps covering less and less like they just stopped covering my fentanyl patches (no I don't abuse them & yes I need them for nerve damage and whatnot).
Something kinda funny is since I never leave my house because of my health, when civic quarantine began I saw everybody online flipping out & getting cabin fever, but not a single thing changed for me lmao. In a way that kinda helped me out.
I hope everything turns out well for you crossing my fingers for you to get better yourself. I would support her cause she is a fellow latina. Even then She is a strong person I wanna do something like that in the future when I get to her size as well.

50:35 people say "post this on insta reels" because there is little to no moderation on those posts. you can actually say whatever you want and unless the actual post gets removed or the uploader manually turns off comments or removes the comments themselves you can say whatever you want. and when you have thousands of hate messages it becomes overwhelming.
