My thought process for projects which I no longer enjoy stitching is this….forcing myself to add another duplicate number of stitches will not change my dislike/discomfort, will waste more time & materials and, in the end, will likely crush any interest I have to ever restart it….the best option is to STOP immediately and set the pattern aside to restart while I am still in love with it…. I totally enjoy you and your projects!!! Thank you!!
Riverwalk Charm is my favourite project of yours - it is looking amazing! It does look a lot like my favourite project, Sunset in Venice :D. Happy stitching! Fantastic progress on all your wips! I really like your plans too, with keeping goals for 2 projects and leaving yourself leeway too
I love all your projects but my favorites are River Walk Charm, Fruits of Plenty and Happy Village. Great idea to crop it down to a more manageable size. Looking forward to seeing your progress next year. Happy New Year!
Very nice WIP parade. I was actually really interested in seeing further progress on the winter night landscape. Fantatic contrast between the yellow lights and white snow. Hope you don’t UFO it ❤. Happy new year 🎉
How wonderful to see your WIP parade pop up today!!! I finally started Fruits of Plenty last week!! Youb have inspired me to get my HAEDs back out because I had gotten so frustrated with them. I am going to restart Beloved by HAED and stitch 2 x 1 tent!!! I will not be defeated. LOL. And I will stitch my HAEDs when you post a video. I love all your projects!!! Have a great New Years.
Hi Carla, I was wondering didn't you have a HAED project named "Fireflies"? What ever happened to Doorway to the Stars? Thank you for all you do for us. I appreciate all your hard work and dedication.
Stunning WIPs, I love the colors, and your stitching is beautiful. I think I'm going to have to see if I can find Sad Fairy, I would love to stitch that one. I think that one, and Fruits of Plenty are my favorites, and Tree of Life.
Oh that would be great! I don't think many are doing/have done Sad Fairy, it's a lovely stitch. There is a mini version I believe (wasn't when I purchased it) though not sure how good the result is on that one. Happy New Year and all the best!
I just spent a wonderful hour stitching as I watched your WIP parade. I truly love all your pieces. I don't recall seeing your Tree of Life project in the past - that one really struck me as a beautiful chart. I'll have to rewatch your video to catch the details to see if it's still available for purchase. As for your 2025 plans - I think you'll enjoy doing that. You'll get to see some real progress on your 2 oldest wips and then you can have fun picking other projects as you go along. (Found the chart on the HAED website and I've added it to my wishlist.)
I absolutely love all your protects, being honest Riverwalk charm looks stunning, it will be masterpiece when finished. You have made such a great progress this year on so many pieces, love it❤ Ive just started stitching on HEAD SAL this evening, unicorn valley.
I love all you projects. I know I wouldnt do the ones with a lot of backstitching. I hate doing it. I have a few in common with you. I have MFE Fruits of Plenty. I think I am only up to March or April in that one. I still go by the montly releases that were done. I did get the 4 pages of the 2024 HAED done for 2024. I started and restarted Melody of the night. I love the colors but the confetti gets to me sometimes. I also am doing a snow queen pretty lady but by a different designer. I want to work on these as well but I am participating in the HAED 2025 SAL as well and this time its 6 pages that has to be completed so I really need to stay on top of it. I want to finish the whole chart this time. I would love to see you stitch on Melody of the night, Riverwalk charm, Happy Village, or Sad Fairy. Great video! Happy New Year!
Verry verry beautiful works 👏👏! How long do you keep the Nurdge hoops on your work? The q snaps leave no marks! Even when they stay on for long. I am afraid that the Nurdge hoop will…?
I love all of your patterns.. the colour pallet is right up my alley.

What a great video ❤ Loved every moment of it! Your projects are lovely 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!❤😊
I have done 50% of Melody of the Night this year (started it in January) and I can say it's worth it so I hope you'll bring it back some day.
