She's 100% a hoshiyomi. When Flowglow were chatting before the concert she was asked her favourite song and she said she could talk about that for 2 hours which is definitely up there!
To those who don't know, Budokan is the ultimate dream of any Japanese Musician. Being able to perform there means you are at the top of the top in the jp music industry. HOLY SHIT I GOT CHILLS WHEN SHE ANNOUNCED THIS. And knowing the past lives of the Flow Glow girls (since almost all of them were past idols themselves) they know out of everyone how big this actually is. I'm so proud of how far Hololive has gotten! 😭😭
@@EternalSanallite Yeah that's why there's an exclusivity in it, cuz even if you have the money to rent the budokan you still can't perform there without an invite
Note: Budokan is the greatest sacred site for Japanese musicians. Built on the inner moat of the Imperial Palace, it is the site of national events such as memorial services for the war dead, and has been the site of performances by top national and international artists. I definitely don't want to be the "wink2, nudge2" guy..but Vivi definitely knew how huge this is for everyone in Hololive. Spoiler: She's performing there before and that the place where she's announced as "concurrent members", pretty much "crowned" as important member of the both AKB48 and NMB48

Suisei really proof that dream can really be achieved went you believe in yourself & those who support you. I can see that she will become the next inspiration in VTuber industry.
I mean, I feel the same about Suisei and I'm not even in Hololive. That feeling must be way stronger for someone who's actually made it into Hololive and gets to try and walk down the path that she's helped to pave.
Thats so awesome that the dream is becoming real. This is really a huge thing and its really a moment in history for vtubers. Sui is really amazing, I'm not surprised that the new girls were so emotional about it. Being now in the same company as the person you idolize must be a crazy feeling.
(Cheesy comment ahead, skip if you don't like it.) Honestly to me, Suisei is *THE* embodiment of perseverance and resilience to make your dreams come true, especially to those like me who have a very similar dream. To think that this is the same person who a few years ago didn't make it through the auditions for AKB48 not once but twice, and was on the verge of giving up on her dream a few months (I think,) into VTubing. Fast forward to this year, where she became the lead performer while AKB48 were her backup dancers for a music fest, a collab with JAXA, and her third solo live tour where she reveals the biggest announcement of her idol journey: the concert at Budokan. Her dream, has come true. You could see just how much of an inspiration she is to the younger gens. If she had given up back then, none of this would've ever happened. She may have had a very rough start, but that just makes her shine all the more brighter now. And that's why to me she will forever be *the* idol in my eyes. (And I ironically type all this as a hoshiyomi who didn't get a streaming ticket because he's so broke that the ticket being about $57 in my home currency puts a hole in my bank account.)
Yeah I very much agree and get it. Especially the paranthesis part. The streaming ticket is almost 1500 of my local currency and the norm here isn't using money by the hundred/thousand like it is in Japan or Indonesia so it feels like spending a 1500 dollars even if literally speaking it is like 42 USD. And I am a non-working student, though admittedly I have been relatively comfortable so far thanks to my family rather than needing to actually personally worry about my bank account.
Suisei is pioneering the VTubing scene into the mainstream media. She made Bibbidiba to shatter the community bubble, the visibility is out of the roof. She's the first VTuber to make an FIRST TAKE appearance, Stellar Stellar and GHOST are hymns for a lot of smaller and indie VTubers. She's chasing her dreams, but to be honest, she's becoming the god tier of VTubing and a lot will happen because of her, she's bearing huge responsibilities to make 2D avatars accepted by the normal folk (which Calli is making huge progress as well). Someday 2D and 3D models will be just normal for a lot of artists, and we are witnessing Cover and Suisei carving their path to it at an alarming pace. Hard to aknowledge while it's happening, but I truly think we are watching history being made.
