Binnie's empowerment of the woman in the relationship, in his lyrics are admirable. His mom raised him well. All his songs in iKon regarding breakup (the famous 3 being Love Scenario, Good Bye Road, Apology) have lyrics that showcase this side of him so well.Even Killing Me and I'm Ok lyrics are about the man in the relationship lacking. I also loved that you two didn't say "i'm jealous" but squealed in delight at the women around Binnie. That is the true ID spirit. I remember iKonics trying to set up dates for Binnie with idol group girls back in the day. I love that about IDs. They know behind the celebrity is a human and want Binnie to have the best life including romance and friendships. Binnie's work started from the "Win Who is Next" days where he composed "Climax" and other songs. Since you two are getting to know him, start from there to see the incredible selflessness he demonstrated from such a young age, trying to debut in an idol group in a ruthless industry. Love you two. I am not sure who i love more Binnie or IDs. I think i am partial to the IDs a little bit more :)

I'm kinda new to him, just like you guys, the thing that strikes me is that his music always makes you feel a certain way, you are really immersed in the song and the feeling it gives you. The way his songs make you feel or where they transport you is very specific, it's never just a nice catchy bop. It's really quite unique and special. I don't know quite if I'm articulating it very well but I guess a great example is the way you immediately thought about the feeling of the end of summer during your reaction to the Endless Summer teaser before you even realised that's what it was called and was about! This mans aura is something else.
EXACTLY! This is literally what we were trying to say. not only is his music so good, it really makes you feel things. He really is different from other artists like you said, he’s very unique. And to just have that power and impact is so mesmerizing and cool. I really respect him and his music and the way it makes me feel. there has been a lot of good music this year, but nothing can make you feel the way Hanbin makes you feel. Really transporting you to a whole other universe.

He never misses with comebacks from choreo visuals dancing vocals nothing is left mediocre. The way this song and the bsides of lol part one work so well and even tie back to other songs on precious projects is so dope. Hello, thank you for reacting to B.I! The meaning behind the first few seconds of the video when B.I was (wearing orange) and in a lonely place, it represented him in the “real world” or reality. Here, he looked reserved and you don’t know what he’s thinking. Also note the location: it almost looks like a fortress that he’s well-protected and his surroundings are “silent.”
The B.I on the television represents his bold side (hence why he’s shirtless) where he does bold things (which could represent his dancing and music) or it could just represent his personality outright. When you look at the second chorus, you see “bold B.I” being in the same “fortress” as he was in reality, but he is dancing with people this time which could represent him being harmonious within himself. B.I being inside the television could mean so many things. Maybe he wanted to represent that he’s got nothing to lose because it’s a fake world and even though not reality, that is his real self. With this, he is likely portraying how he is running away from reality by watching a movie or playing games. Plus, we also see bottles placed everywhere in the “reality” side which could represent depression. He mentioned about his depression in WATERFALL album so it made sense. I also think that the “him” in the TV probably felt more alive instead of the one in reality.
I think the “woman” portrayed in the video could be IDs, or portraying the idea what people feel when they’re with a loved one, or it could simply be the monitor that’s keeping him up all night LMAO. If that’s the case, then it would make sense why the lyrics mentions that it is “addctive” and that he “tries to keep in touch” when he’s available (hence why the monitor/partner doesn’t sleep). Because he feels right at home/comfortable/loved.
Another thing is that he wanted to represent the “slums” of this unknown world. The background looks like they’re the buildings from BTBT, only that it is portrayed in the ground and not above in a flying car which could mean hierarchy. And that could explain the fashion used in the MV, since slums don’t have the luxury to have clothes in general.
Overall, these explanations are just my whims. I based them off of what I feel when I’m playing video games or when I’m watching a movie. And a lot of the time, the reason why I’m playing games is so that I could run away from my reality: school, depression, and relationships. And not really how the majority of people would see it which is a negative thing the youth does that makes them stupid. Their arguments are valid but I think no one really talks about the “other side” of it and B.I did just that. I can relate to him, and that means that he is really representing the youth well in my perspective.
