I have been islandhopping in Greece for some 30 years and I only can say that Seajets is probably the most unreliable company there is. Always the 1st to publsh schedules for the next year but also always the 1st to cancel sailings at the start of the season if not enough bookings yet. Futhermore they are constantly switching their ferries from one route to another. And their customer service is in fact non-existent. Other companies like Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, Dodekanisos Seaways, Golden Star Ferries and Fast Ferries, to name just a few, are far better.
@@pvdppvdp6638 Oh woah, sorry to hear your experiences with them were not so great. We also traveled with Blue Star Ferries (slow ferries I also loved them) and Golden Star (my least favourite) Perhaps, if I island hop Greece for 30 years (which is amazing btw, any favourite places you love?) I would probably see more differences and other issues. However for our first trip over there, we had no issues. We even decided to stay in Naxos 2 more days, and it was so easy to change the Seajet tickets with the Ferry Hopper app; I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you for watching! 1-2 more Greece videos on the way! :)
@@kasiainwonderland Usually I do 2 trips of 6-7 weeks every year. One before and one after high season. The last few years the trip in spring starts and ends on Naxos, the trip in September/October is with a prolonged stay on Kalymnos. In fact I just returned last week. Next year it will be Naxos-Ios-Folegandros-Sikinos-Naxos and Kos-Astypaleia-Kalymnos-Kos. You should try the Dodecanese islands if you haven't done that already. In general, less tourists and a bit cheaper (accommodation - food) than the Cyclades.
@@pvdppvdp6638We absolutely loved our time on Naxos! We also went to Ios; another great island! (Made a video about our time there as well!) We're planning a trip I think for next year so I'll definitely look into your recommendations! Thank you so much 🌸
Your trip was very enjoyable and beautiful. Thank you for sharing your experience of travelling by ferry from Naxos to Athens, Greece. 👍👍
Thank you so much for your nice comment! Happy you liked the video, 1-2 more videos coming soon from Athens :)
