bruh its 9 years layer, i watched this as a kid and was amazed at the end with all the mystery going on with the computerpret inc guys, i dont think after all this time we could see the part two of this, but its super cool this still exists and that you guys found your passion making games, kudos
Now that Wuppo is out and MapleStroy 2 has an English Translated version, hopefully, we can finally get a part 2, this has gone on for 6 years, and now would be the best time for a comeback.
Lets not kid ourselves Lars isn't going to make a comeback to this lol. Even though this film, if he were to continue it, had some potential. Also I heard he's working on a new Wuppo game?
@HouseCrafts We'll be releasing the score as a free download in a couple of days. The Worldchat piece is one of the tracks on the album, I (Thomas) composed it. It was actually the first piece I composed for Dragon218, if I remember correctly. =)
@Darkhedgielvr5 Thanks for your honesty. We are aware of that, and (as Thomas said) that's definately something that'll be different in the second part. But since a lot of people would enjoy this video even though our own standards became a lot higher through the making of the video, we were happy to release it. Storytelling and the script are currently our main focus in making part 2, and all the work we've done so far promises for a much and much better sequel.
@XINKAI What are you saying man? This is WAY better than any cartoon on TV right now. Everyone has their opinions, but the animation is the best thing I have ever seen. He worked really hard on this, and he deserves AT LEAST some respect.
the music in the animation is amazing, and i can't give enough credit to thomas for that. as for the animation itself, it felt a bit more slow-paced than Lars' usual spontaneous style. not sure if he was trying new animating styles or if he's changing it up, but it certainly was unexpected. i think i would've enjoyed this a lot more if i didn't know of his previous works. However, it's still got a nice storyline and characters, and overall, awesome job! Can't wait for part 2.
@VolvenIV I originally planned to make it maplestory related, but then I changed my mind and wanted to draw everything myself. Once Thomas got more involved with the movie ( along with the whole twlkd idea etc) the storyline changed completely as well. But the Villan from the contest result will still be in it, only a drawn version instead of a maplestory sprite.
There will be small updates on a channel which we haven't reaally announced yet (twlkd2). We're currently working on wuppo and soon we will work on it full time (right now I'm doing animation for a tablet game called Gust). We're preparing some stuff to upload somewhat more frequent wuppo updates :D But full releases like the game or a bigger animation will take a while from now -Lars
@NSxProductions Haha, that's funny because it was actually meant to be for exactly that. But we couldn't really find enough credits to put there since we're with just 2 people and we didn't want to spoil all the characters at the beginning.
This is really amazing, too bad u aren't famous yet. It's hard to imagine exactly the ammount of work behind this anime, but on the overall it was very good. Enjoy, I'm sure u had a lot of fun doing it. GL for all of ur projects in the future and congrats
