In the first one, #2 Appuso definitely was warding/pushing before she scored

You cant ward when you dont have the ball. Could have been called a push off but i think it's clean

What I got from this video is that Maryland goalie is garbage

It appears you aren't knowledgeable enough to have understood the point Sheehan Stanwick Burch was making. The approach and wind up is high, but the release on the shot drops low. It's the same form of deception as men's players who wind up low to get the goalie to drop low, then come over the top high to high, just working the opposite way. The wind up keeps the goalie's stick high to set up the low to low off side shot, which from 6 yards out leaves the goalie with not much of a chance.

If what you got from the video was that the Mayland goalie isn't very good, then I would really suggest either watching more women's lacrosse to see some of the saves that she does make or learning what good goalie technique looks like even when they let in a goal. Megan Taylor was the 1st Team All-American goalie and 3rd in the country in save percentage. On more than half of these shots, she reads the shot well and displays great technique, but is just a tiny fraction of a second late because the shooters are right on top of the crease. She even gets a piece of a couple of them, but just has the bounces not go her way.

Are you watching the same video, she does not wind up high, she starts her shot from a standard cradle mid-height position. To be clear I think it was a good goal, just the announcer made a mistake.

Okay from this video though she did not look good, her record may say otherwise, but I'm just going of off the video you posted.
