I appreciate Lopo, you know. I think he's a cool guy. He sees the potential of the club. Look after him. It takes a lot for managers to feel ok with sharing responsibility when it comes to recruitment. We need to repay him by getting it right. Speaking 4 languages, having coached Real Madrid, and the Spanish national side is not to overlooked. I also really respect the fact that Lopo acknowledges we already have some brilliant assets in the squad. Fans have underestimated how good the core of this group actually are. Just need to add the right profiles, now. Please work together, gents. You have my utmost, support.

The main reason why West Ham had to say goodbye to Moyes was that foreign players were not excited at the idea of playing for him. We could not attract ambitious young foreign players, so his style became more and more defensive. I just wish Rice was still ours because his reputation alone helped in our recruitment
I still think if Moyes would have got that summer right, the summer he got backed heavily, Rice would of stayed. We finished in European places, kept all our best players and spent massively. He got it horribly wrong. Barely even half of the players signed that year have made any impact whatsoever. His biggest mistake was trying to change our style too drastically. We needed to further enable that approach, not change it.

He speaks very well, he sounds like he knows EXACTLY what he's doing and his English is amazing as well so yeah I thoroughly enjoyed my first interview from him and I can't wait to hear more from him!
