And besides, she's part of the direct bloodline, doubt they'd kill her off. Besides, he only married into British royalty, not born into one. The Queen will simple be a widow, not dead.

What a privilege, I lost my first husband at 35, we knew each other since we were 17. You think you will grow old together and never think that one would die so young. Anything can happen so being so privileged to be together for so long is just wonderful.
Phillip was an extraordinary person. His legacy is his love and loyalty to Queen, Country, and family. RIP Sweet Prince.

Remember our Queen lost her beloved mother and sister in the same year. She has immeasurable strengths, and Charles is there.🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
It happened with my husband's grandmother, when his grandfather passed. They'd been together for almost 70 years. His grandmother had become a shell of herself, she weighs almost nothing and her dementia has worsened so that she doesn't even know who she is or who she's with. It's heartbreaking. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, least of all the Queen.

One thing very admirable about Prince Phillip is that he was so gentleman to put aside his ego and stand behind his wife the Queen and supported her the best way he could. RIP.

I'm a Nigerian but have always loved and respected the British royal family especially that of queen Elizabeth. As old as he was before he died, I sincerely wished he could live longer. The royal family and all her lovers, Accept my condolences please.

I believe that I mentioned this before. When I was in the United States Navy, in 1982. The Queen was scheduled to take a tour of the USS Ranger, a Naval Aircraft Carrier. I was onboard. A few of us Navy guys were standing behind the ropes, hoping to get a glimpse of Her Royal Highness. The first person we seen was Prince Phillip. He walked over to our crowd and started talking. I could barely hear him saying something, the people who were closes started laughing. He was a down to earth, friendly man. He interacted with us like he knew us. There was no hesitation or doubt. So, that was the first and only time that I, a young black teenager from Midwest America 🇺🇸. Been that close to Royalty. May he Rest In Peace!!!

I agree with the Queen Prince Phillip was a very cute little boy who grew into a handsome man. What girl can resist a man in a Naval uniform. My mother was 12 and my father was 15 when he fell for her big blue eyes. She didn’t like boys then so he had to work to charm her. At 17 he volunteered for the Navy and his widowed mother had to give her permission because he was a minor. He joined to fight WWII. He wrote letters to my mother, he mailed her an engagement ring and they got married in 1946 when she was 17 and he was 20. They stayed happily married for 73 years till he died on his 93rd birthday. That generation appreciated being alive, having a spouse and a house with a family life after living through a World War and seeing so many young people die. She will be very lonely without him. I hope she can stay strong and at least she has Charles, Anne and Edward and their daughters-in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren who love her and will stay in touch. I’m sad that Harry is being foolish and hurtful towards the family but he will reap what he sows. Children want their extended family, they are important to them and Harry’s wife is seriously messed up and selfish trying to exclude the rest of the family instead of embracing them. I grew to love my in-laws and they became very important to me and my children.
