Thanks so much for reacting to all of these artists, like you said, they're all way too underrated... Especially thanks for reacting to Ungjae aka HelloGloom, his group Imfact ridiculously underrated, especially being in limbo after ending their contracts w/their original company...like a lot of kpop soloists you wouldn't realize he's actually the main rapper/maknae in his group if you've only heard his solos.... I am always shocked at how underappreciated AB6IX is, especially given they have 2 Wanna One members & have 1 of the best debuts ever, & Daehwi is 1 of the youngest/busiest kpop producers working... Younite are really adorable & talented, but like a lot of recently debuted bgs they're not getting enough attention... And I feel like hardly anyone even realized Nine to Six debuted, let alone that they're a subunit of DKZ, who are also criminally underrated, especially given the lineup & name branding changes
If you like Loser you’ll probably like the album opener Blaze. Personally my favorite song off their new album is Reality. You’re right that they have a lot of upbeat songs but if you read the lyrics, they’re actually pretty sad. They have some really good recent ones: Weightless and Sucker For Your Love (not the part 2 song, but the 1st one from their previous album Take A Chance). If you only pay attention to the English lyrics in Weightless it sounds like a song of encouragement, but if you read the translations of the Korean parts, it’s about being ripped to bits to the point of feeling weightless. Sucker For Your Love sounds like a love song, but again if you read the lyric translations, turns out it’s a breakup song lol. Those are fun to listen to, then listen again with translated lyrics. They released a part 2 to Sucker For Your Love on their most recent album and it actually does sound sad though- the song is told from the POV of the dude in part 1 and describes his cheating ass 😂. I feel like the sound changes from AB6IX’s albums can be split into several periods: bcomplete/5nally/6IXENSE are in their own era, VIVID in its own corner, salute/salute:a new hope in AB6IX’s confused stage, then mo’complete/mo’complete: have a Dream/Complete With You in AB6IX’s more developed bright side era, and now A to B/Take A Chance/The Future Is Ours:Lost, in their darkest sounding era yet. So if you like their current sound, you’ll probably like their b-side album music from A to B, Take A Chance, and Lost the most.
I can't believe I haven't seen this video until now >.< thank you so much for reacting to nine to six!! Don't Call Me was a huge shock for everyone in the fandom honestly, because it's very different from what we usually get from DKZ, no one expected this unit to be this dark, especially with the promo pictures lmao, DKZ's sound is way brighter usually
