I used to do this all the time, especially when I found out pre LOD you could gamble for unique items. With a little gold and alot of patience you could get some really nice things. This was also useful for Tools of the trade. Bad roll? Try again :)
I loaded blackdeths pre load save and put it in my save folder but doesnt load in game? like i load the game and nothing appears this also happens when i use hero editor too nothing saves?? so frustrating that i do everything you do and nothing loads please help thanks

UPDATES DUE TO PATCH CHANGES Alright, so it looks like 1.14 saves the games in a different spot than 1.13 in 1.14 it stores them here C:\Users\WINDOWS USERNAME\Saved Games\Diablo II in 1.13 it stored them here (for me at least) C:\Users\WINDOWS USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\Save

Make sure its the right diablo 2 save solder. You can see my recent "try my all my builds" videos, where I show the same procces.
