Damn this song hits hard hearing "have you got a spare buck" haha i remember a few years back when me and a mate camped out on Burleigh head one night, we was just two skint Pomes as we was backpacking so we only had "few smokes" and bottle of port as well as half a box of cooked rice from his workplace. It was tranquil as we watched a lighting storm off the coast with our little fire buried into the sand. we eventually tried getting a bus home about 4am and then realised we had nothing to pay with but luckily a pome like us was driving the bus. he replied "no worries bois hop on" we then got as far as Currumbin and had to walk the rest. enjoy the little things like that beacuse life is simple sometimes.

This song really reminds me of my childhood. Me and my sister would go all over town on the bus getting drunk and high and doing shenanigans with our friends. Sometimes we'd get suck places but it was worth it for the memories. Kids nowadays will never get to experience that.
I have some teenage neighbors who are doing shit way more rad than this in the middle of a pandemic so, no, I don't think kids nowadays are not having fun like when we were young. They are certainly doing it, we're just not witnessing.
