I’m South African and the first time I heard this song was on Tears if Madness and that is when I automatically fell in love with Stanley Okorie. And since then this has been my favorite song by Mr Stanley Okorie, but the twist was me thinking this was a love song because I never understood the meaning behind it , and today is when I finally found its actual meaning and am I not touched 😭😭😭😍
This song was in the movie mercy Johnson and Kenneth okonkwo acted about 14 or 15 years or there about where she was from a poor home,his mother was susu in the movie,after marrying her,it took her time to give birth and as she gave birth susu cane to do omugwo while bathing the child one morning the baby fell and died,so mercy Johnson ran mad immediately,omo the movie was interesting and touching
Susu actually trew the baby, it was intentional and Mercy saw the act and collapse immediately. when she regained consciousness she became mentally ill. very touchy movie
