I doubt it. Bakugou is also extremely smart although in a different way. Even in the exams, Bakugou was ranked 3rd and Midoriya was 4th so I'd say they're similar in academics for sure. If Midoriya was quirkless and used gadgets while also having attended UA, he'd definitely be in the top 50 but Bakugou would for sure be in the top 3. When considering Mirio was supposed to get OFA, he'd definitely be number 1.

I like to think of myself as calm and reserved, I listen more then I talk, if I’m showing emotion then I’m smiling or something, I haven’t ever actually felt angry before- so I bet if I ever do get really angry once it will take everyone by surprise. I tend to bottle up my emotions too, and so far I haven’t actually released them let, so if I ever do get angry i will probably completely break down. I saw this a lot of times. In most of the series/movies main characters get mad in bad situations. This is what makes them more powerful at the moment.
I like how Midoriya tries to be as nice as possible, but when he really gets angry he doesn't really hold back too much. But I think the only time wher he got TRULY angry was when he fought Muscular and Todoroki. Maybe even Overhaul. But with Overhaul he was still aware of his surroundings. With muscular he just got mad because he thought Kota was going to die.
With Todoroki he was like "Okay no more daddy issues lesgo" and almost died lmfao.

Deku was bullied by his childhood friend and litteraly everyone except his family, the teachers know he was bullied but just watch and didnt do a damn thing and those haters expect him to be tough all the time. His confidence was shattered since he was a kid.
@@yuyesyu8339 honestly, those teachers should've been fired. in term of bullying the affect could be long term affect or short term it mostly depends on how long sometimes and how severe in Midoriya's case it was very long ever since in Kindergarten he has a reason from what I've seen the creator wants to say is that a main protagonist can be filled with flaws, Midoriya was not trained emotionally BUT he was training mentally without even knowing. Deku is a brave person In japan they are a lot of numbers in terms of s*icide ( I am sorry if this word kind of triggers you) because of abuse but because of mostly bullying I have heard in China, Korea, and Japan the bullying is wayyyyy worst then America. And one of the reasons why I like midoriya is because he never let his emotions cloud his judgement... I mean have more reasons but this is one of the main reasons.
