izzyfish i dont shoot target but i do understand that a couple of holes and small changes are no reason to rack the price up , that's why i tend to get the cheaper bows that do the same thing for hunting
If you've ever been part of the machining process, then you understand that, yes, how you cut the holes, and what machines you use to do it, absolutely do make a big difference in cost.

It's more a matter of efficiency....doing a lot of bows at one time without having to change out machining bits and parts. The more you have to stop the process and change things, the slower the process, which drives up the cost. If you can make 100 bows per day, vs 100 bows per week.....you save money on labor and machine use with the faster process.
If it's the same bow like the Victory 37.. same riser, same cams and same limbs... why does the Elite webpage say it has a 337 fps IBO speed?
The 337 is the top speed at 31-inch draw. At 30 inches....which is the IBO standard....the speed is 327.

you try drilling some holes in your bow and your bow will probably snap the next time you shoot.

Does it have a rear stab mount?
Moral of the story... just go buy a 16/17 lightly used a v37 for half the price.
So it's $100 for every hole they put in the riser. Really
