I don't really like the door opening thing, I secretly hate it a lot, but I won't glare at a man who does it for me, just simply thank him, but on our way out, to avoid the situation, I step forward faster and open the door for both of us... It's my way to balance thing out and let the next person know without making things awkward...

Or is it because society expects you to? Or is it because your idea of masculinity? What is your reason? And that will determine why some women let some men open the door or some not. And if your reason is correct and you aren't looking down upon her consciously or unconsciously, I don't think any woman will have problem with you opening the door for her. Ask her reason and tell her yours. Don't go around saying that women don't know what they want when you have never asked her that...

what fascinates me about shawn is that he so aware, you can truly feel how deep he cares about people, he really understands how much his actions can affect others and how different and unique each individual is. people usually comment on how nice shawn is but i don't think they really deeply see how nice he is, he's not only nice because he's always apologizing or trying his best to not curse, he's nice because he's aware of his limit and also aware of other people's limits. he's a genuine and respectful young man who honestly deserves more attention for other things besides his good looks.

I am not usually someone who follows celebrities/singers’s interviews and et cetera but honestly Shawn’s way of speaking and overall his personality is quite fascinating. He always says something intriguing and keeps everything really real, which is very rare nowadays, but it’s fucking beautiful. All of his work is incredible too. No wonder why he leaves so many people speechless.

The interviewer is great. She listens with keen interest and is actually aware of whats being said. She's super engaging and has a presence in the conversation instead of taking the backseat. Also, that posture is brilliant.

I'm a mom and just now becoming a big fan of Shawn Mendes. I always thought of him as a kid. But after watching quite a few of his interviews recently, I see how incredibly mature he is for his age! Wow! The part that got me is that he and his mom have the same tattoo! And he has the tattoo of the voice graph of his family saying "I love you" to him. Aw!! What is there not to like about Shawn Mendes?!
