    Good Nice information

Is there any difference between SDI test and turbidity test.

Yes, there is a difference. The SDI (Silt Density Index) test measures the fouling potential of water by forcing it through a filter and is specifically used to predict the fouling of reverse osmosis membranes On the other hand, a "turbidity test" measures the cloudiness of water caused by suspended solids. While both relate to particles in water, they assess different characteristics and are not directly correlated.

SDI (Silt Density Index)** measures the fouling potential of suspended solids, while **turbidity** measures the actual amount of suspended solids. They are not the same and do not directly correlate.
**For example, you think i can lift 100 kg weight
      (you have the potential)
and a machine has lifted a quantity of weight, which shows how much it is.
      (Just example to understand)**

Thanks, one more question please, how I can remove calcium sulphate scales from the system.

Of course, by chemical cleaning :
      • Acid cleaning: Use of acidic cleaning solutions, such as citric acid or hydrochloric acid, to dissolve calcium sulfate scales. The acid solution is circulated through the RO system for a specified period to dissolve the scales effectively.
      • Alkaline cleaning: Utilization of alkaline solutions, such as sodium hydroxide, to solubilize and remove calcium sulfate scales.
