I like that emergency bypass. It defeats the purpose, yes, but if you absolutely need it, a kid plays with it and sets it for 99 hours or something, etc. it’s good to have the bypass.

Exactly, for people who are extremely addicted to their phone of course the override button will be used, really does defeat the purpose.
@@Xphantomgamer but still, people who need these anti-impulse products _really_ want a _permanent_ ban on them for a set amount of time. besides if u _know_ that it will be permanent then make sure u have nothing else u need from it. if ur _that_ desperate to get rid of ur urges then nothing u need from it should be that important to u. a dumb phone can be used to call emergency
The emergency unlock function can only be used five times in total so it really is just for emergencies. After unlocking the phone five times that feature will not work anymore.

Is it bigger enough to fit Zippos in? The lockout override failed after you previously initiated the lockout override. Therefore, this a function. If I'm right, you need to set the timer to 1 minute let the time lapse naturally. Then repeat and lockout override will work. Then next time around lockout override won't work again. This is very smart because if device user is a real addict it will teach said user to control themself. Or say you come home from the pub and you had your bong locked up in a cabinet you override the lockout remove the key to your bong cabinet place the key to your car in the lock box set the timer for 48 hours. And in 48 hours you can have your car key back. I read your description what is the deal? It is limited to 5 times?

I just bought this. The emergency bypass only works 5 times in its life or until you take it apart and cut the wire to the battery which is soldered on. Its a great idea

I clicked off before that 🙌 funnily enough a random alarm went off on my phone and I couldn't disable it so decided to chuck it in the shed instead of overriding it lol

That’s true and some people can do that. But many people would still want to check their phone even with the timer going. This makes that much more difficult and adds a physical barrier so focusing on other things is easier.
