Seeing Tool in KC is probably the BEST place to see them. I lived there for 25 years… saw them on the Undertow tour and I honestly can’t remember the other 2 bands and Tool wasn’t even the headliner… then again on the 10,000 days tour… no opening act… they play for 4 hours… it was, hands down, the most incredible show I’ve seen in my (starting at 17, 50 now) life!!!

Seeing them perform this song live is like a spiritual experience… I had the pleasure a few times. The last time though… Maynard made us all laugh by making a joke out of his apparent uselessness the last half of the song by coming out center stage and sitting at a diner table and ordering food. 😂🤣

Enjoying the ride! I feel like the spiritual vibe is all in the arrangement and delivery. A lot of their patterns are based in sacred geometry all layered on top and spinning around each other. Love it!
That song is a brooding beauty just phenomenal, I think the song is about suicide and not to succumb to it...."falling isn't flying" "floating isn't infinate"
I heard tool for the first time in 86 have seen them 4 times over the past 30 plus years they have a unique sound and are masters of their craft one of the funnest shows I've ever seen was at the international ballroom in Atlanta recently saw their is a TH-cam video of the concert that I saw myself on over 25 years layer how's that for a cool memory

Yes it was Kemper I believe and it was 2007. I’m jealous… I’ve only seen them those 2 times.
My man!….I attended my first TOOL show March 15th in Kansas City. I kept telling people I feel like my soul has been cleansed!
It was a #1 bucket list since the early 90s to see Tool. I saw them March 4. I drove 4 hours one way . It was remarkable experiencing it
