Speed matching should work in either range. When you shift to new Range whether manually in mode "I" or sequentially in mode "II" when range change it doesn't just change range but also matches closest powershift range. For Example upshift from 1F it doesn't got to 2F it goes to 2A or 2B depending on what is happening in the use of the tractor. Same thing shifting down. You don't jump for example from 3A to 2A you drop to 2E or 2F to match the tractor speed. Matches the closest Powershift (A, B,C,D,E,F) when you change gears (1,2,3,4).
@@VahrenbergImplement thanks for the info. I got to demo a Massey baler hooked to a 7S with the dyna6. Didn't get to play much with the transmission features, but loved how the 6 Powershift gears helped to keep up with the rake and make a perfect bale every time!
The Dyna6 is a very nice transmission and easy to operate when you learn the controls and get time to learn how best to use them for your benefit. Don't forget Massey Ferguson Multi-Purchase Program if your thinking Baler & Tractor. It doesn't have to be done at the same time but within a year of first purchase. If you buy at the same time you save on both but nice way to upgrade and save when you need more than one item.
Can you get this tractor in a 2WD with Duals Configuration?
7S Series only available in 4wd (Power Front Assist). Tire Options include Singles or Duals (With Long Axles).
Does the Dyna 6 speed match in the I range? Or II range only?
