I've watched most Liverpool games for about 5 years now and quite frankly I don't think many are better than us over that time span, only madrid and city. Madrid just has that pedigree where they might not look like they're going to win but they do and no one questions it because its Madrid.. I'd even say they look lack luster but then woo another champions league, it's not just coincidence they are pure class. Love to be a Madrid player. City just lost Rodri and have an aging team, pep didn't transition well and should of made 3 or 4 midfield and defence signings to cover for potential injuries and aging kbd and walker. Bad management almost looks like a pass.
But this season we just look endlessly tiresome to play against. You literally cant win the tactics haven't even fallen so the team hasn't even needed to show character. he just wins on tactics every single game I wish he would rotate more to offer more fresh legs in the biggest games and look after all the players but he takes no chances which is fair when your job and legacy is on the line.
It's the 2nd half of games, we just start to really rip into teams at like the 70th minute mark when they're exhausted and it's like when the the opposing team is that tired and you have the front men we do including Darwin and the others with their pace and the way Liverpool play where they just tease the shot but never shoot until it's a certainty. It's our way now and we win and the team he inherited from Klopp is phenomenal most managers mess up a club before they leave out of spite but he did the opposite he literally handed the crown over to slot with some gems from his own pocket.
We can't be beaten for a few seasons, the loss of Trent is a big one but a fresh face is really needed most seasons for the fans so make it a big one, the loss of VVD is unacceptable and he should be offered big money. I wouldn't sell him for 400m. Lose him lose any chance of winning anything for 10 years. That guy is so good and I'm glad people don't see it. you think it's a coincidence Liverpool went from averaging 70 points to 100 points with CL Semis minimum for his entirety at the club?
Am a bit worried about the goalkeeping situation 3 world class keepers isn't going to work. cash in on Kelleher he should be worth about 50m now and any CL team would be lucky to have him for that price especially straight out of this utterly dominate Liverpool team. He's clearly been taken care of by the staff and is in top condition and still able to train to a new teams system. On the other hand I wouldn't swap Alison for prime Buffon or actually that might be a shout but that's because he sit outs too many games. Allison when you retire you can tell your grandkids, yeah I could of played 60 games a season but only ever played 30 because I'm big pussy. I expect to see more personality from you.
There's no one in the league capable of catching us now not for a few seasons. Any player we try to sign should accept and be dealt with promptly and for once stop signing players for a flip or a profit. Sign the finished article, no is the time for that, don't let it slip.
