I thought my throw out lever was bad after I replaced the cable. After I pulled the motor it looked fine. Going to check the crank arm and hope that's it.
    Thanks for the insight!
    Peace

The reason someone may have added those washers and nut onto the bowden tube may have been to get the tube to have more curve? This will cause a bit more friction on the cable and reduces clutch chatter.

Hi, our bowden conduits are the correct length to prevent the clutch chatter. Many Thanks

How much freeplay did you adjust for at the pedal. Bugs are like 1/2 to 3/4....
    Thanks for the amazing video!!!

Hi, it was about a half inch play at the pedal.

Hi Mark, thanks for the video. Is your bus a T2a? Mine is a 1977 T2b and it looks a bit different aaroung the pedal area. And mine is a left hand driver.

Hi Steve, our bus was a T2a that maybe why the pedal area looks a bit different.

@@justkampers whereas there are slight differences in the pedal pivot area (not 'pedal' area as I wrote previously) vs. the T2b, the logic remains the same, so your video is very helpful. I hope I can manage to get the new cable and sleeve in as smoothly as you did. Looks like a walk in the park.

We sell a Universal Accelerator Cable that would fit a VW T2 Brazilian Bay if it is a 1600 Aircooled.
