Another great adventure. Keep them coming. The driftless is now on my list. You introduced me to the Missouri blue ribbon streams. Time to hit the road. Thanks Mike
I can so relate to the tight streams of New Mexico. I learned how to fly fish on the Cimarron when I was 12. Some of that fishing can be quite “ugly” compared the elegant, open casts people envision when thinking about fly fishing.
When you make it to boise I’ll show you some fishing spots🙌🏻 hit me up 🤙 Big wood, silver creek the owhyee all top notch fishing. I grew up in Idaho falls and the south fork is a epic place to fish. Island park, eating breakfast at maxs Inn.
Stoked to hear about you being full-time remote and getting to travel around. I just became full-time remote as well. How do you connect to internet when you are traveling around?
I have a pretty sweet recipe that I use now on top that catches a lot of fish. I used to throw hoppers and stimulators all the time back in AZ but haven't tried them here in Missouri. Your in NM I'm sure they have big hoppers there just like AZ. I just haven't seen a whole lot hear but I mainly fish Bennett Monutauk and Current. Either way looking forward to the video.
I caught that your job is now remote - sweet. I've been on that route for a while - it's been over 5 years since I stepped into an office. I just got back from 10 days in the Smokies; I got a good mobile hotspot, and I worked out of my hotel room during weekdays, fishing every afternoon and all day on weekends. I wanted to see what it would be like to live and work there - I own property just outside of the boundary to GSMNP. Caught my pb trout on a fly rod - 15 inches, which might not seem like that big of a deal, but considering that for a lot of the streams I fish there an 8 inch fish is notable, I'm more than satisfied. It was a new stream to me, and I've never seen such aggressive browns.
@@FLYALLSZN That was the thing about this stream - even the "average" fish weren't bad...a bunch in the 7-8 inch range, like they came from the same mold. No dinks at all. It wasn't in GSMNP, although it was close, and it involved quite a drive to reach, but once I was there, I pretty much had it all to myself. I turned over a few rocks, and there was a healthy amount of "stickbait" - caddis larvae, so these fish are well fed. I had a few others on that were in the same zip code as the one I got, but couldn't quite close the deal. I will definitely be going back soon, along with a few other new streams I'm researching.
Hey, just wondering what brand reels you use on your ant fire rods? I ordered the leaf cutter rod and will probably use a 3wt Cheeky fishing preloaded I think, but not sure yet. BTW, great videos, awesome fishing and scenery. New Mexico and Colorado are my favorites.
@@FLYALLSZN thanks Mike, didn’t mean to send two messages, this message seemed to have not been sent and so I sent another one. Thanks for all the info!!

There is so much to see!! Driftless definitely needs to be high on your list
Love your videos!!! Its snowing and cold today so watching your videos and I'm very much enjoying them. Lets goooooooo!!!
As a Wisconsin native now living in Colorado love seeing videos from back home. Kickapoo River was my fly fishing stomping grounds.
There is some amazing water in Wisco!
Nice creek ... like Sand Creek in Eastern Wyoming or the Cimarron River below Eagles Nest in New Mexico. Tons of small-to-medium browns.
The driftless has some great trout fishing for sure
Great Wisco Driftless video. Nice to finish the session catching the pool boss.
Tup crushed it! 4th quarter pool boss was incredible
Lovely river, beautiful days fishing nice to see that turtle too!
It was an absolute blast!
Soooooo Amazing. Love this video!!
Thank you so much Charlie!
All those trout in that hole was insane! I love these videos, I wanna go find water like this in Colorado so bad
That’s the Driftless! The quantity of fish is really insane
Can’t wait to see your Teton videos. That maybe my new favorite area to fish. So much amazing water!
You and me both! Really looking forward to the West
Favorite driftless stream. So many great days fishing here.
Lots of access and lots of fish! Truly a gem!
Nice way to end a day!
It was fantastic!!
So much fun! Thanks Bro!

Killin it regardless of state. SWEET!

By no means glamours but it sure does teach you the game.
Nothing better then an empty access area in the AM….especially these days!
It's never been an issue for me! Early bird gets the worm and if you are willing to leave the parking lot you can find solitude.
love the music choice in the beginning
Thank you so much cayden! Vibes are important, and that just fit the vibe

Oh hell yeah Matthew! Thank you so much! That would be incredible!

I run a wifi hotspot! It really does the trick!

You should give hoppers a try on the blue ribbon streams in Missouri!

For the smokies that’s an incredible fish!! I would be just as stoked knowing the average size range in those parts!

I will need to fish that area sometime.
YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You live in Madison???? I live in Rockford IL definitely heading west of Madison to go hunting for some trout streams!
Hopper ploppin!!
It is the best!!
Have yet to fish the driftless but in my bucket list. I’m in the west so it’s far. Man ballsy to pick up a snap-Ah…..I don’t do snappahs …
Just gotta know how to hold those kind of critters! I've done it enough and still have all my fingers.

Right now I am using an orvis Batt 2. Thank you so much! I should be back out in the West very soon.

Bro come to Montana you will be so close
But Idaho and Wyoming are so dope.. You are asking me to drive over a lot of good water to get to big sky country haha
So can I ask what your remote “job” entails? Is it just social media?
Just social media? Haha no no.. I have a real job with real deadlines. I talk about it on a few podcasts. What you see on YT & IG is just for fun.
what waders do you have?
Those are Simms! They are nice but with wet wading season coming quick I doubt Ill use them much until the fall.
What’s your wt for your outfit?
