Editor's Notes:
Darshan is sight of a holy personage, in the ashram an event where many gather each day
Prasadam - generally refers to a sacred gift - often referring to sacred ash (vibhuti) known to have curing effects
Parthi is short for Puttaparthi the town of Swami's principle ashram
Lingam - is an egg shaped symbol of divinity (Shiva)
Akshaya Patra is an inexhaustible vessel, in the case of the brother it was a container with vibhuti (sacred ash) that doesn't run out

This story is part of a collection of stories that the Sathya Sai Baba Center of Atlanta, GA is capturing. We have embarked on a journey to gather the stories of transformative moments that devotees in Atlanta have had in relating to Sathya Sai Baba. Stories of personal interactions, remote experiences, healings and miracles from the 60s, 70s, and 80s all the way up to experiences devotees are having after Swami left His physical form.
The experiences are varied and heartfelt, inspiring and wonderful. And all through 2020 until Swami's birthday on November 23rd, we will be posting these sincere and amazing stories each week!

Om Sai Ram! Brought tears to my eyes. I long for Swami more than ever before after hearing Brother's narration of Swami's compassion. Those were the days during mid-sixties when Swami landed at Madras Airport and we would run to Swami and touch his feet. HE would walk very very fast after landing. We were very small children at that time. Sai Maa! Sai Maa! Sai Maa!
Could not stop my tears.. listening about our compassionate swami.. Sai ram and thank you for sharing such beautiful experiences.

As the eldest of my family, I took care of my family vy divine grace, now I'm suffering with an autoimmune disease called lupus. Since recently I have been stressed with lupus, This video gave me the assurance that Baba knows me and will cure me. Sairam ❤️

Sure you pray to swami daily. Definitely he will cure. My son had anxiety attack two years back. Often in college he would feel so scared for no reason. No doctor cured him. But gave medicine and told it would go away slowly. But he rejected medicine and we prayed to swami. He became alright. He used to hold his head and cry for hours. Friends used to laugh at him as they thought he was acting. Only doctor knew it was a mental disorder. Even I never understood what happens when all of us were there, what he would mean feeling scared. Koti koti pranam to Swami's Lotus feet 🙏🙏🙏
