  • Secrets to getting crispy pizza crust on a Lodge Cast Iron Pizza pan. Stick around and I will show you my secrets to how I do it.     For best results, heat the Lodge Cast Iron in the oven for at least an hour, at 500 degrees or whatever temperature your oven can handle. Get yourself a peel. Or you can use a thin pizza pan and shape it on that with some parchment paper underneath the dough. Toss it onto the smoking hot cast iron pan and let it cook for 3-7 minutes. Just use some tongs to tranfer it back on the peel or onto the cheap little pizza pan (12-14 inches). It's like the best pizza you can get at some shop in NYC, like John's of Bleeker.
