Hey Jasper, your videos are great! I was looking for Bronica ETRS videos and found your channel: great production + great images. Please keep doing this! Cheers from Italy.

Hey there Tazio! Appreciate the kind words! I'm working on getting another ETRS body, and will do a video like this with it, and other videos with it! ☺️

I super miss my 124g. I ended up selling it to get back into the bronica ecosystem. I 100% intend to get another tlr soon!

Really enjoyed this video! I thought framing yourself through the cameras waist level viewfinder for the intro was a super cool idea. Also, what tripod is that in your thumbnail? It’s gorgeous!

I appreciate the kind words! I'd love to do more shots like this for future videos. Been on a hiatus while getting life stiff together. I'm actually not sure about the tripod, there's no markings on the legs. I'll have to pull it out of storage and read the head, will let you know!

If you love the Yashicamat, enjoy it to the max. However your Bronica is a vastly better built camera with far superior lenses. Remember that the video makers you mention are in it to deliver "content" and build viewers. They aren't going to say anything negative about a camera they review to avoid offending anyone, and in fact they may not know much about the camera. If you want one of these, get a good condition 124, not the last 124G. The 124G was cheapened down to save money as Yashica was trying to get out of the TLR business, and eventually went bankrupt.

Ended up selling the 124G and went back into the Bronica system! I really felt like I had to baby the 124g or I'd break it lol I love Bronicas so much haha

I still have a 1957 Yashica Mat with a 75mm 3.5 Lumaxar lens. Still works perfectly. I have a Rolleinar 1 close up set and a bayonet 1 lens shade. I meter with my Yashica fxd quartz 35mm slr camera. Perfect.

Great video, Jasper! How did you setup that top view into the viewfinder while you are out on a walk? I have been meaning to do something similar for my Yashica Mat as well. Keep up the vids!

Hey thanks for the kind words! I used a cold shoe with 1/4 20 screw to a magic arm from smallrig to an osmo action with a smallrig cage on it!

Nice video! Did you meter with the camera meter? If so, did you expose for highlights or shadows?

I metered with the cameras built in! And highlights!
