Is Disney Premier Access Worth $40 at Hong Kong Disneyland? | Our Last Day in the Park!

- Today is our last day in Hong Kong Disneyland so we decided to make the most out of it! We paid around $40 each for Disney Premier Access which allowed us to skip the lines of 8 attractions including Mystic Manor, two rides in Toy Story Land and more! You can get different tiers of the premier access, one is cheaper for 3 attractions and the other is more expensive which allows you to access better seats for shows and the fireworks! It's quite pricey but if you're visiting Hong Kong Disneyland for a one off trip, we definitely recommend it for a day!
We watched Festival of the Lion King which was as good as ever, no flippin' monkeys though! We also found the Fairy Tale Forest which blew us away. It's a beautiful walkthrough garden area which uses really creative landscaping and has super cute miniature sets that you can interact with. It was such a cool attraction which they need to build in Magic Kingdom!

I will be in HKDL in two weeks! Just to let you know, the HKDL pin you got is actually - double happiness character (used typically in weddings) and depicts Mickey and Minnie in traditional Chinese wedding outfits. It looks very unique and I love the pin!

Disneyland HK is so exciting. Disney Shanghai is much bigger and more exciting as well. Beijing Universal Studios is also very popular.

We’ve booked to go to Vegas and hoping to go to Disneyland Paris this year too! We love to explore new places in the UK and now that Kyn has moved here we’re planning to do that more and have short stays in nice places. So lots of cool vlogs from that and maybe some more ‘life at home’ videos too. ☺️

We purchased it on the day using the HK Disneyland app, it’s its own one separate from the WDW and Disneyland ones
Great Vlog. We going to HK Disneyland at the beginning of September our first time my wife’s first time at a Disneyland park I been to California and Paris years ago so my memories are pretty hazy. Anyhow if you had to go to just one Disney park out of the 6 around the world which one would you recommend?

Sorry for the late reply!! How did you enjoy HK Disneyland? 😁 if you haven’t been to WDW in Florida you have to go, there’s so much to do including 4 theme parks, two water parks, so many hotels and Disney Springs too. However we’ve always wanted to go to Tokyo Disney!!
@@joeandkyn We have postponed our HK Disneyland trip to beginning of March next year. As it’s the end of the storm season now in HK. Good news is by the time we go the new frozen land will be open then. We just thinking about also doing another disobey park next year. I really want to go to all 4 WDW parks like you guys suggested as I feel that I will enjoy it more as they speak in English there and the other Shanghai and Tokyo they don’t really speak much English there. As I am from the U.K. and my wife is Filipina but speaks fluent English and the Philippines is where I now live in it’s a bit to far away. To go to WDW. My wife would like to go to Tokyo Disneyland my second choice is Disneyland in California. So maybe next May we might go to Tokyo Disney.

Ah that makes sense, I imagine going to Florida from the Philippines would be a LONG day of travelling. In that case I think Disneyland and Tokyo Disney are your best options! Hopefully our upcoming California series will help you decide 😄
I am going with another person, each one has to buy its own early pass ticket?
Did it take an hour to obtain food at the quick service restaurants on the other days you were at HKDL?
Nope! We went to the quick service in Grizzly Gulch on our first day and had our food in 5 minutes. We think it must have been a holiday during our last day because stand by queues were a lot longer and quick service lines were crazy. It definitely helped getting premier access on that day!
Is the premier access for one-time use only?
Only one time per ride 😊
Nice to see u had fun as a local most people either think hk Disney is the worst Disneyland ever and they think going there is just a waste of money and people should use than money to go to ocean park to save up to go to Tokyo it’s good to see people having fun there.

Ah that's a shame as we loved visiting Hong Kong Disneyland! I will admit we as a couple from the UK/US, this may have been the one of the last of five Disney Castle Parks we would have previously chosen to visit as it is so far for us to travel for a smaller park. However we are so glad we had a flight connection in Hong Kong which we decided to extend so we could make the most out of our visit. It definitely opened our eyes to Hong Kong culture and foods and seeing such a unique Disney park too. We're so happy we decided to visit. We hope you enjoyed the videos so far, still more to come! 😄
@@joeandkynoh yeah I wanna ask when did u guys see momentous cause recently they cancelled the fire effects next to the castle cause the dragon catching on fire in Disneyland. And the show is just better with the fire effects
@@IDK-ui5en We watched them this night the video was filmed, so will be in the next vlog. But yes there was fire effects when we went on April 3rd. I had no idea that affected other parks too, it’s a shame because the villains part of Momentous was epic with all of the flames!

I want to warn anyone planning to visit disney hong kong. YOU CANNOT buy the premier access in advance! You will probably think that it makes sense to buy it at the same time that you buy your tickets, that is, in advance, but you would be wrong! The entrance you need to buy in advance (sane). The premier access you need to buy only on the same day as your visit (insane, scam. intended to trick people like me that like to plan in advance and get everything bought at once..)
Disney world is pretty much trashy compared to Disneyland California and the other branches of Disney. Check the crowd and quality of rides.
Having been to all besides Tokyo and Shanghai, I think they all have their pros and cons. Disney World will always be my happy place.
