Happy New Year to You both and Poppy & Tara, looking forward to your travels in 2025
I guess you’re sorted for your Irish trip but the site at Doolin County Clare out west is fab, great location for the Cliffs of Moher and the Arran Islands. There’s a small site at Lough Arrow on the way back east which is lovely too. For Dublin I always recommend Kilmainham Gaol, a great reference point for Anglo/Irish relations over the years. Thanks for all you do 👍
Thanks for the tips! Have already booked Lough Arrow and the site at Doolin is on our list, just waiting for their bookings to open.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo at Lough Arrow be sure to visit the memorial by the gate and be prepared for a "well I never" moment. I love that area, Ireland's lake district without any crowds, underappreciated.
Happy new year, lovely area, shame about the rain on New Year’s Eve, hope it was better today. Looking forward to visiting the site, but think I will check it out in the summer. Some stunning scenery around. Grassington was one of my Dads favourite places, so fond childhood memories for me. All the very best for 2025, David & Rachel 👍
We love the area too.
A very Happy New Year to you both! Very pretty Grassington. You'll enjoy Ireland. We did it many years ago, when my boys were little. Lots of pot holes from memory!! 😂 Look forward to your next adventures 😊

Happy New Year to you both. Enjoyed your tour round the Dales, very useful to me in deciding whether I want to drive those roads in the van.
Happy New Year both, hope the weather picks up for the rest of your travels. Safe journeys Gary n Ellen xx
Happy new year!
Happy New Year to you both and Poppy 🎉
Thank you!
Happy New Year to you all from sunny Australia. I really appreciate your efforts to show me parts of the UK that I have not seen before and will probably never see in person.
I have seen our long-distance truckies checking wheel temperatures with an infrared camera in roadside stops, and that might be a use for a motorhome driver as well.
Ray
Thank you. Yes, possible binding brakes, good idea.
Thank you for a lovely country side ride along . Happy New Year Jenny, Bob, poppy, Tara. XX 🥰🌹

Happy new year ❤ your camera would be ideal for night time wildlife xx
Yes, I might even spot wildlife with it, thanks.
Hi Bob and Jenny, we said hello to you yesterday in Grassington, weather here at the moment is terrible, might push off one day early tomorrow if the wind abates. Looking forward to watching your travels in 2025. Happy New year.
Ben&Gwen

Thermal Imging for taking photographs and videos in the dark xx 🥰🌹
Happy New Year Bob,Jenny ,Poppy and Tara.🥳 I've seen those thermal imaging camera's being used to check for heat leaks around window frames and doors. Also they could be used to check for heat build up on suspected seizing brakes etc.
Yes that's a good one, the brakes, thanks.
Happy new year
Thank you, you too.
Happy Hogmanay 🎉
Hi Bob and Jenny we are from West Yorkshire so have visited this area and sites a good few times. I remember trying to put a new awning up at Wharfedale in the dark one September and had at to finish it off in the daylight next day. There used to be an outwood bound centre right opposite the Buck Inn in Buckden which I have visited many times including the pub, our daughter was only a couple of weeks old when we took her to the Inn, that’s 42 years ago. Great video with good content, you don’t see the area at its best in winter but nevertheless a great place to visit.
Thanks we still enjoy it. We love Grassington and the moors.
Great Vvlog guys, so how do you do that with your GPS (satnav) talk to it and so?.
It has voice recognition built in. We did a video recently on the latest Avtex Tourer Three.
Happy New Year to you both.I was wondering what size tv do you have.
We have a 19.5" Avtex M199DRS pro in the lounge and an older 16" Avtex in the bedroom from way back in 2014 and I cannot remember the number, but is slightly smaller than the new Avtex. I'm looking at trying to change the old one in the bedroom, but I can't find any newer Avtex TVs that fit!
Thanks for your reply i can now go ahead and order one up.
A very nice drive round very much enjoyed keep the work up. Have you thought about an electric car as 2nd car?
Thank you. I'd love an electric car as a run around, but we can't tow an electric car, plus they are heavier as well.
Hi both of you and the doggies, it’s horrible here too in Devon, very windy!
I really enjoy all of you and your adventures. Re the camera, handy if you’re trying to see the cold spots leaking from your van maybe in the arctic 😁
Happy New Year all of you, Fran Xx Tell them subscribing is free.
Thank you, we can do cold spots in Yorkshire, no need to go to the Artic. 😁
Happy New Year to you both, and Poppy and Tara, looking forward to your 2025 videos 🙂 35mm ??? do people still use them, be interesting to see the results 🙂 Years ago ( decades ) we used Bonus Print , took about a week to come back and see out odf focus pictures, those were the days 🙂 We were in Middleham last week before we went to Sun Hill Lodges for Christmas, was a lovely little place, loved the castle, and the hotel where we had a drink. 1 in 4, pretty steep 🙂 Grassington is where we got stuck in the van after coming home from the Wharfdale site, think the tyre tracks are still there 🙂 All the best Trev Debz and Tyler.
Yes it's 35mm film, an Olympus OM10 from around 1986. People still use film. There's a lot on TH-cam about film cameras especially retro SLRs.
Hi Bob and Jenny,
I've finally persuaded my better half to have a go at a motorhome holiday next June. Planning on doing a tour of Norfolk and Suffolk for a week. Hopefully it won't end in divorce!
Enjoy your tour of the island of Ireland. We've been there a couple of times and the roads are great for driving (but give the black valley a miss).
That's great. Hopefully, you'll both love it.
Ghosts lol xx
Random question, where is Bob's jumper from? My Neil would look smashing in one too!
The WAW is firmly on our wish list.
Happy New Year to you both and hugs for P and T. We're visiting our neighbour tonight for an evening of Rummikub and fizz! N&Nx
It is a Weird Fish and we got it from Jackson’s of Old Arley shop in Old Arley when we were at Somers Wood.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
O and HNY to Poppy and Tara, so cute🐶🐶
She is isn't she? We always love having Tara with us.
Happy New Year to you both. Re Ireland. We did a similar trip last year. A site we would recommend would be be Wavecrest At Caherdaniel on the Ring of Kerry. Plenty of TH-cam videos on this site. Phil and Helen😀
Thanks for the tip.
Hi both of you and the doggies, it’s horrible here too in Devon, very windy!

Happy New Year all of you, Fran Xx
Do tell people it’s free to subscribe. As often subscribing means paying a subscription 🙂
Tbank you, yes that would be interesting to see.
Hello Bob, We use infra red cameras to detect if any electrical terminals are getting hot, and identifies any problems before they cause a fire, in the motorhome you could monitor battery connections / fuse boxes.
Yes, good one.
You could use the infrared camera to see where the heat is escaping from the van.
Would the infra red camera show heat loss to the exterior of the motorhome.
Thanks, I'll see if we can spot that.
We arrive In Grassington this week
Hopefully it will have stopped raining for you. 😅
Maybe use the Infra Red to keep an eye on the dogs at night if you let them off the lead lol :)
No chance of that 😁 Jenny wouldn't let them off in the dark. 😅
Thermal imaging of equipment, wiring, cold-junctions and drafts?
Yes, good suggestion.
Happy New Year Bob and Jenny, BTW you were at 1700 feet, at 1700 metres (5577 feet) you would be higher than Ben Nevis 😂
Yes I did think it was feet. 😆
Love the plans for Ireland. If you take Poppy and possibly Tara will you need pet passport as we have relatives in Southern Ireland and I am concerned as we would go via Northern Ireland as we live in Cumbria and would cross via Stranraer.
We'll be crossing via Dublin so we'll definitely need an Animal Health Certificate. Not sure anyone checks for AHC coming via NI.
All the best to you both the camera might be useful to see how hot your brakes are getting
Good idea.
Grassington the location for All Creatures Great and Small the channel 5 series
