Is it possible to stunlock creatures? Or is there some kind of cool down or they build resistance to it ?
I believe there is a cooldown between stuns. The mantis has a 2 minute cooldown

Why it wouldn't work, try it out you can always reload your save.
how are you pausing in inventory
It’s a custom setting you can turn on in custom mode in addition when on the easiest difficulty it pauses in menus
Correct, for this video I was in mild and it pauses automatically. I'm not really a fan of the pausing because it feels like it breaks of the flow of the fight. I really should've put the other drinks on my hotbar before hand.
