I found the rocky/creed franchise late. Finally binged them all last year
Man these movies and characters are so motivational and iconic. I see why it's beloved
I had seen parts of different Rocky movies growing up but the first Creed trailer was so good, I had to binge the whole series leading up to the movie. This franchise is so good!
My favorite Rocky movie was Rocky 2. After that movie ended I was in tears, then I wanted to fight everybody

My favorite movie in the series is Rocky 4.
In Creed the results of the third figjt between Rocky and Apollo is revealed when Rocky admits to Adonis that Apollo won it
15:24 even Rocky himself told Apollo that he's making the same mistakes like he did with rocky overlooking Drago that he doesn't know anything about and Apollo still didn't listen to him because Apollo viewed the fight as international fight between America vs Russia even though the fight was just a exhibition match he didn't take Drago serious it was just a show for him and that was his downfall
Most character arcs have them learning from their mistakes, so I really appreciate they chose to go this route with Apollo. It makes him believable in my opinion

Actually in first movie Rock knocks him down for more than 10sec. In First Round
The Ref kept moving Rock then count again so he stops counting twice
Second fight RockY loses 5 times before 15th round. In 15th Rock is saved two times by the ropes and corner bar. Massively Lucky in second fight

They really screwed up Apollo Creed in Rocky 4, I don’t know why they had to make him such a joke and lose so easily against Drago. Rocky got all the glory in Rocky 4, while Apollo got absolutely nothing. Such horrible writing.
