The problem is - how is this an exploit? We use four heroes and their abilities the way they are intended to be used. There are no bugs with any of the four heroes' abilities nor their artifacts, only the fact that people designing this week's boss mechanics messed up and allowed an infinite loop. So while I really think they should patch this up, null all the scores and possibly add one week to the HoT rotation, I see no valid reason to ban anyone. Doing this will be REALLY messed up. It's like you used double Lots and some other TM shenanigans to pass an Abyss floor and get banned because developers didn't account for ALots + SpiritBreath interaction and now they mad and they punish you for literally doing nothing wrong.
Exploiting is not bug abusing or glitching things out. It's, as the term itself says, exploiting an unintended weakness at its maximum level (usually*). So yes, this is exploiting but still it's their fault, not the players' so no ban should occur.

It's blatantly obvious something like this could've happened when you combine resetting skills and attacks not adding anything to the exhaustion bar, clearly something that didn't get tested much possibly. If I didn't find this, someone else would have. But even through all of that. It's still an exploit If i were to make a comparison its like when counter set was originally claimed to be 20%. If you knew it was 30% and constantly abused knowing that to take advantage of rng to win fights, that would be an exploit. You're using the game mechanics (fair without bugs) in an unintended way. It's just that with this you can push it to the extreme
Yeah but bug’s are also the developers’ fault, and you can still get banned for exploiting those. So just because it’s the developers’ fault doesn’t mean you’re safe from punishment.
Tbh I found this exploit good schadenfreude, given how they decided to partially move to this mode that makes bosses immune to ALL the dps debuffs to sell new shiny characters. And especially after they decided to nerf a character after 5 years of him existing with no trouble. Normal mode still gets me SSS ranking so that's all I really bother with this days (and surprisingly, clearing that 4m on normal ranks you decently high
anyone know why my debuff doesnt proc at Ayufine? Like i already trying this around 10 times but 80% of that trial is just the same, i cant give enough damage to her. But my brieg, doris, and lilka already at max skiil enhance.
Yea i was surprised with how simple it was. They disable extra turns and dual attacks (good game balance SG, just force mechanics and turn off everything else). , so just have Senya and 3 characters with non-attack S2s.
ok so my team is at the same speed as the characters in the video but I always have an issue of not being able to have doris go and skill 3 Lilka before Yufine when theres a 2charge left on her in phase 1. is it RNG? I've been stuck a while trying to speed tune the team...
This is not an exploit, its working as intended. Gacha games have done shady crap like this since their invention, e7 is just late to the game. It is designed to get players to drop every ounce of cash they can getting the current unit so they can get the insane amount of points and near impossible rewards of daggar sicar. Its a classic case of pay to win. They knew exactly what they were doing and how people would get Young Senya just so they could do this.
Unfortunately, I might be simply not be cut out for this battle yet due to not having acquired good enough equipment to make an effective play. Maybe in the future when I get better.
I can't see a world where they ban for this except for perhaps the most extreme examples. I didn't fully read the mechanics of the fight and just copied the leaderboard team looking for a quick SSS+. I fell into this loop naturally without even trying. With it being so easy to slip into I feel like they'll just patch it, reset the leaderboard, send everyone some HoT currency as compensation, and call it a day. Then again, this is netmarbleguy's SG, who knows what will happen.

Every time yufine starts her debuff me phase, brieg goes first and i can not get her past 1 before she refreshes, even with the same speed tuning as your units though with a bit less health and attack update: finally got to break phase after a lot of trials and error with getting turn order rng and getting cr just right and made top 100 leader-board :D
You should have worded this very differently, the HOT this week is just broken right now and Smilegate should rework the mechanics as soon as possible.Taking infinite turns is broken, the Ram usage spaghetti code doesn't matter.
Wrong, this IS intended behavior, but it is an OVERSIGHT, there's no glitches, there's no bugs, devs checked all the bullshit and then said "ok, this is it, all the Senya shill is on place, ship it", they went ultra hard on the Senya shilling so they ended up with it being an endless loop cuz they forcefully wanted all the posible things that exist in the entire game to be beneficial for Senya in this fight The only bug here is the RAM leak cuz devs are incompetent and the PC client is trash
I tried with her. She doesn't proc her extra attack that efficiently since none of the enemies use non-attack skills. It's possible for the normal one but you gotta add in another soul weaver.
I wonder why I didn't hear you complaining about HoT requiring very specific heroes when it was some 5 years old bs like charles and cermia 😉Although it would be cool to have multiple teams that work equally well on every rotation, HoT in its current state is still significantly better than what it used to be. At least now I can use units I've already got built for other game modes, instead of building worthless garbage specifically for HoT
the exploit reminds me of the crafting glitch that happened in Destiny last year. Basically just lowered frames to the minimum and played a resource intensive youtube video and you could apply weapon frames and perks that didnt belong on some weapons. Made pvp hell for that short week

In my game it auto kills your party by detonation (even with no burn effects) after 4 rotations I think, and the turn count effects don't do anything the way they do in this video. More gacha ripoff, if I didn't play this since launch I'd quit, sunk cost fallacy at work hahaha.
