Here's the info on my setup. It's a bit out of date in that I have changed over to the RAM mount system for the cameras, but the wiring portion is basically the same except for now I have USB ports on my instrument console so I don't need to use external batteries. I'll update the article soon. www.scottrichardsonphotography.com/wp/2017/11/08/my-powered-parachute-audiovideo-configuration/
I see your birds nose dose the figure 8’s in light turbulence & thermals like mine does. It hurts to see those wounded birds, but glad he was unhurt! To lose a 3 blade, plus frame damage......Ouch!!!$$$$ I had a hard landing, blew the nose wheel, buckled the front forks, came to a rather violent stop, then got pulled over inverted. Lost my prop, & had to have my front forks rebuilt. Climbing out of an inverted machine, not something I want to experience again!
@@ScottRichardson_PPC That’s another ouch! I had a hard landing last summer, after a light wind kept me from getting back to my LZ till it was to dark to see the ground well enough. On my second go around, & darker yet, I went long, I hit before added power slowed my descent, about 3G’s of impact, & I blew the beed on my nose gear, buckling the front forks, causing a rather abrupt stop, then the wing went over, causing a forward somersault, ending upside down. Just got it back, painted the new rebuilt forks, have to put the new blades on, & check it over well before I attempt another flight. The wing was stuffed in the bag by those who were there helping, so will need to inspect it as well, because I have no clue where two of my prop tips went. I was ok until I saw my machine. 😫😫😫
@@ScottRichardson_PPC Thanks brother! Jotted down as an expensive learning experience! That, added to it cartwheeling off my trailer within a month of buying it two years prior, & having to have the hoop rebuilt. 😫😫😫 That was like a sickening kick to the gut!

...and there was parachute damage as well. Prop blade shrapnel flew up and tore the chute.

@@L2FlyMN Oh man, that really sucks. Glad you weren't seriously hurt.
