I've been playing a deck pretty similar to this. It uses Brute Bonnet to set up the poison, then Radiant Hisuian Sneasler to finish off the pokemon. Tsareena heals/cures itself. Super fun deck to play.

ive been running this also. Built it before the set came out. Its great when youre allowed to do what you wanna do and get Tsareena out before the opponent gets their sstrong mons out/set up. However the deck is wildly inconsistent. Other decks can easily play around it also cause its not very versatile. This is what ive been playing.

That pause from the opponent in the 2nd game when you hit gardevoir to 30 was awesome. You know they were reading all the pokemon to see why Jirachi didn't prevent the damage 😂

This is a cool deck, but I keep wavering between Panic Mask or Vanilluxe. Panic Mask is obviously less setup and deck space, but Vanilluxe stops attacks from happening at all while Panic Mask only stops damage (won't stop effects like Roaring Moon's knockout or placing damage counters like Sableye). Vanilluxe makes you safer, but you're already dealing with one stage 2 pokemon with your rare candies, adding a second makes it feel rather inconsistent to me.
Those 6 prize wins are fucking cool though.
This was one of my most anticipated cards from the new set. I think Tsareena is super flexible and has a lot of different decks to work with, like the one showcased in this video, a one shot variant with Brute Bonnet and Radiant Sneasler, and maybe even one with Critical Bite Crobat for extra prizes.
Shamefully I succumbed to having 6 prizes taken in 1 turn.. I was playing Gholdengo too which hits for weakness. I had an explosive start but then they played Path and I absolutely bricked… by the time I drew something to get rid of the path it was too late.
I stopped playing Charizard ex because of this Tsareena deck. Losing 6 prizes in one turn because I was whiffing draws felt super bad for me but probably great for them lol

Vanilluxe is good on paper but in practice it's insanely clunky and slows your setup down too much
It’s so good the mask is the quick option while you setup the the new stage 2 vanilluxe which unlike the mask just stops them attacking instead of making you immune to damage.
I saw it but it gets clunky and most of the time your win condition is to deck out your opponent, it completely stops the game for both if you cannot KO their mons by attacking them.

Cool deck. And I am so glad we could see you do that in the end 6 price cards attack. Both Lost Zone and Charizard ex went down earlier also. The opponents should have some healing cards in the deck to fight this. Fun to watch 🙂👍

What about the similar raticate attack (10HP remaining) but with this tool? Expanded is playable?
Unfortunatly the mask doesnt stop roaring moon but its quite solid against any other deck
You can still use Braviary on Roaring Moon after it uses the OHKO attack.
I've seen brute/sneasler poison builds with Tsareena to ohko. I think it's a good tech option if you can find space for it. Otherwise pure Tsareena/Bravery is a strong combo.
Ive been running Tsareena/Bonnet/Sneasler. Pretty good when it works but pretty inconsistent. @@TwelveTables

I subbed mask for tool jammer cuz I noticed people started to tech for tsareena with tools. Ran into mira/iron valiant guess they weren’t paying attention actived a mira that had hard charm w 240 dmg on it already…TWICE. Took 4 prizes on their turn then they scooped
i got 6 prizes with intellion rapid strike. it was glorious
roaring moon or gholdengo might be more consistent when it comes to climbing the ladder

If you use thorton, you could thorton a jirachi or manaphy into rufflet and then go from there
If you Thorton, you can evolve right away too, yeah?

How do you power up iron jugulis in this deck? Raihan to grab DTE?
@@falo4043 just manual attachment and energy switch late game and use of future booster capsule for easy pivoting damage increase

Haha finally played the Tsareena!!! Stream was dying to see it. I took max 8 prize cards a few times with a different build haha.
Leave 2 spaces open if you play with Mirandon. I have to play the complete opposite, it's crazy. Ultra balls and switch carts SAVE those.
Hmm. I think Agatha may be a good one to use, to move 30 damage from your active Pokémon to the opponents active Pokémon. Take a free KO and lock out some other attacker 🤷♂️ great deck mind, I may have to give this one a go!

I would have liked Tsareena to be a grass Pokémon (just because is my favorite type) but it has it's reward to be water and being compatible with Irida to not brick that much. I really don't like Roaring moon even though it looks like to be one of the best decks/Pokémon in the set and probably for the whole format but will see.
I have been enjoying your content a lot since I came back to play Pokémon after I played for less than a year when Black and White came out and having fun looking at your lists and this is one of my favorites so far.

I agree - ive only lost a couple games with this deck and i run 1 1 braviary and 2 2 vanilluxe. I often have turn 2 tsareena and vanilluxe the next turn cause Irida go dummy
Thoughts on decidueye ex with technical machine evolution in this deck? Hits roaring moon and charizard for weakness and 30 damage to the bench for an icicle sore’d pokemans
I use vinulx so even if the lost vacuum away my panic mask it wont matter
I can see switch carts in lost zones being a bit of an annoyance for this deck. I like the tree tech but rarely will i get value from it I believe. Super fun deck tho
This would be completely off the wall but i wonder if its too much to setup this with vespiquen as a final attacker, they both run grass energy but you never know, just as like, a final heavy hitting attack
Also what about toy catcher instead of counter catcher, i think it would be much better because it is a boss for pokemon with 50 or lower hp

It would be cool to see tsareena with brute bonnet and radiant hisuian sneasler for guaranteed one shot ko on everything.
I tested that and it's really good, if you don't whiff the booster capsule. having a 310 HP pokemon to deal with after a insta KO is sick
I think Roaring moon is just better /Consistent for insta KOs and Alolan raticate also requires less setup

Can you please do a Kingambit deck? Kingambit attack “strike down” instant KO Pokemon if they have 4 or more damage counters, it sound like a fun deck to play
I tried spidops with 3 boss 2 counter catcher
Haven’t tried it yet with braviary. I’m running vanilluxe with panic as a cushion. I have been running into tool jammers. Thinking about the new toedscruel to completely lock them down. But it’s great making goldengo & roaring moon rage quit. Sadly it’s a bad match against tina & venusaur. & whatever that annoying stage 2 deck that just discards your active. No clue what mon it is though. You can’t ever beat it because it evolves moves in & discards you, so you can’t keep the damage high enough to shut it down.
I have not seen a tool jammer in the "wild" in AGES. How are you running into those? 😅

This has been a deck since PR dropped lol. I was playing it with Vespiquen and various people on reddit figured out the braviary. Crobat is also quite funny.
