Try this. Tiger trout. Put some bacon, onion, butter and seasoning inside it. Wrap with bacon, and cabbage leafs. Then tin foil, tight. So no juice leaks. Cook well.
Nice variety, so cool how you have so many different types of trout in one place! Do you ever worry about trout picking up pollutants after having been in there for more than a few months? I am sometimes hesitant to keep holdovers for that reason, though I'm not really sure of whether or not amount time the trout have been in the stream affects that. I'm guessing that your streams are cleaner than mine, but I don't know much about water pollutants.
Samson K 20 the streams I fish are usually really clean, mostly spring water and most of the trout are wild so I don’t think any of them are polluted. I’ve never heard of trout getting polluted.

The way we've always done it is to put the bacon, scallions, lemon, etc inside the fish and then wrap it in foil.
