Thank you Jack for this posting (I linked from Fr. Z's blog). Thanks to Archbp. Vigneron (from my archdiocese) for his questions and contribution here. Msgr Steenson displays a certain Anglican wit. I've often thought the 1662 BCP was a liturgical opportunity whose costs have amortized over 350 yrs. Thanks again jackinthevox. I pray for the success of the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.
I am praying for the ordinariate to start in south Africa. Being from an Anglo catholic tradition (high church anglican) and studying towards my theological degree, i am able to see the need to being in full communion with the see of st peter. Lord in your mercy hear my pray.
I'm a convert from the Episcopal church, and I must say that I have been and continue to be excited about the Ordinariate's! However, I'm confused with the comment on the extraordinary form mass. Isn't that form of mass, for the most part, where Anglican "Patrimony" comes from?
Shame on Lee and Elizabeth Kenyon, John and Ruth Wright, and Jonathan and Peggy Gibson, they should've gone over to Grace Anglican here in Calgary (Gibson was the first rector of Grace before joining the apostate Rome) and joined the ANiC where Biblical orthodoxy is a priority (I still raise issues with the unBiblical traditions of infant sprinkling and confirmation, but those are secondary), as well as evangelism! Rome has gone so far away that it can no longer be accepted!
