With people quiting, threaening to quit, complaining about the cost, you'd think this is the last thing they'd do. But the money grab is real. I'm FTP and I'll keep playing and being FTP until it doesn't make sense anymore.

@@BarryGamingTooThe more powercreep there is before the game goes into maintenance mode, the more progression there is for F2Ps to get through and hence the more longevity for casuals after new endgame stops getting added. The only downside at that stage will be for krakens who have already bought their way through all the progression and have nothing new to do.
