But i think it wasn't the only reason since ariana grande also somehow managed toe scape that nickelodeon role into a singer

This is actually the video that made me fall in love with them about a year ago. I had never really listened to any of their music or actually watched the show. I really didn't like them.. probably because I judged them for being a Nickelodeon band. So I have no idea why I decided to watch this. But as I did, I gained respect for the fact that they're really not all auto-tune like everyone thinks.. THEN the video reached 2:11. My eyes got watery and that moment was when I realized I was in love.
