Did you tear it skiing? I had my right acl fully torn a few years ago, used a piece of my patellar tendon for the reconstruction. It’s a long road but be consistent with pt, stretching, and staying mobile, I believe in you. All the unilateral stuff that prehabs your hips ankles and knees is critical as well, that prevents imbalance from leading to further injury, particularly it band pain. I strongly recommend checking out Dr. Aaron Horschig on here for prehab routines! The pain gets much more manageable very quickly. I was going for long walks by my first month, hiking by month 3, backpacking by month 4, skiing (blues) again by month 13, skiing blacks by month 15, and running by 16.
