I see Americans who are so obsessed with getting things exactly right in their mind and being food police that they end up frozen in fear. Food and home cooking now seem inaccessible. ATK empowers people to plan fresh ideas for weeknight dinners that bring families together, keep food costs lower and bring salt and sugar intake in check (fast food is the cause of all the blood pressure and diabetes issues- not home cooking). I have found that the foodie purists are often eating frozen dinners or from a drive through.
@@ABlueDahliacorrect. Sortedfood made a pancake video not too long ago and Americans ripped them for using egg white as leavener. Most of these commenters grew up on Betty Crocker's pancake mix
Why are you people so machenical i mean its just a pranthaa 😂😂😂

Who needs non veg food when there are so many veg indian dishes❤
hahaha i haven't seen Julia being this happy in tasting for a while
Thank you for the Praha recipe. Only one thing was missing, you have to eat them with Punjabi mango pickles, yum! You can get the pickles at any Indian or Pakistani grocery stores.
And what’s the difference between PUNJABI mango pickles and regular INDIAN mango pickles?
India is Vegetarian's heaven....no doubt -- there are more then 2000 types of dishes ...
love from panjab, land of five rivers.
Stuffed parathas are generally enjoyed with Chutneys of sweet & spicy kind. The most famous two chutneys that go with stuffed parathas are Coriander-Mint Chutney, and Tamarind Sweet & Tangy Chutney.
A tomato-onion salad of this kind is not something that I have ever seen.
Love for alu paratha has no borders.
These Aloo Paratha look yummy gotta try soon, thanks for this recipe!!

Thank you. I've never seen this kind of bread before. I am going to have to try this. ❤

Its like daily breakfast in Indian sub continent
I love eating mine with with sour cream ❤ another way to eat it is with a little bit of south Asian pickle. Mango pickle, lime pickle, mixed veg pickle, etc.
Sour cream in hindi is?
@@Rvj.12 lol, who knows but it is amazing with aloo paratha. I'm 50 and been eating it that way since I was little. My mom did it, and I think it might have been an influence from the European potatoes and sour cream combo.
This is Indian dish 🍲 👍✅ i love aloo puri also 😊❤️
punjabi potato stuffed griddle breads !!!!!!! lovely 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Terlihat sangat lezat, saya menyukainya
Nice. Punjabi’s have it with Achar- hot pickle and yogurt.
Yeah, that is the best.
North Indian recipe, not from Punjab but whole of the northern India owns this
@@77JAI it says PUNJABI PARATHA in the TITLE

For non Indians her, just ask your Indian friend for Alu Paratha. He/She would be more than happy to make them for you
Ladies did a good job
..respect from india❤
In India most of the time to cook the potatoes the pressure cooker is used. It takes less time & you need not to cut the potatoes in pieces. Happy to see you trying food other than American food. Rolling Pin ( in Hindi Belan, & in Marathi Latan) is used which is more comfortable to use than that big wooden roller.
Traditionally, we use whole wheat flour to make parathas.
Itna technically Paratha aj tak nhi dekha😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Those hit ..... delicious...
Erin has beautiful graceful voice
It's not just from Punjab

Just Green chille, cilantro, Ginger, chilli flakes, and salt still make it sooooo yum
It has nothing to do with Punjab 😂

OMG!! That ruler🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Although..the parathas look mouth-watering 🤤😋🫰🏼
This is my staple go to breakfast. Quick and easy. I always use whole wheat flour like most Indians and the stuffing is always different.
So there is gobi-aloo paratha, gobi paratha, aloo-pyaz-paneer paratha etc etc. Good to see that you are so meticulous with the recipe.
Green chilli is better in paratha instead of red chilli
Never thought making of Alou wala paratha is so much technical and scientific abroad.😂. Anyways loads of love from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
Amazing video. The machine used for making the dough was amazing. I definitely need to look into it. I usually use my hands but the machine would make it so easy.
Nothing beats a piping hot aloo paratha with a dollop of butter melting over its crispy crust. 💥💥💥

It was the first time I saw the making of Alu Parathas professionally. Especially when she measures with a scale. it's nice.

Upgraded version of making allu porata.... Of course, i enjoyed your cooking style....glad to see Americans are using Indian spices for cooking....The most interesting thing is you are using scale to measuring the diameter of parotta.....
