The scene at the beginning was the final fantasy 7 tech demo for the ps3. Kinda wish they had remade it to look like that though. I just played through 7 again a few months ago. Would like to see it with updated graphics but I'm sure square has better things to do so :p

Man the ps1 era was so great. Though i got to admit despite how I love this era of FF(especially Tactics + 8) it is a bit overrated. Though it does get me thinking what Squall and Cloud would've looked if 7+8 stayed with the medieval theme of the past games. That or what would Ramza, Zidane, and Ashley Riot would've looked like if their worlds were like 7+8 modernized and kind of futuristic
