Hey, to help people with the colors they’re using. I would say gold (lightly color) for the base, and warm grey for the top fur.

This is not easier to do digitally BTW.
Got a whole set of fur brushes for my art program, ended up using the round smudge brush for any and all fur because it just looked better -_-
Drawing fur with individual hairs like that is just hard, kudos to you for being able to do it so well

Yes, this! So many people put digital down, and it's harder than people give it credit for. I always have my favourite brushes for digital fur, and it's rarely the fur brushes 😆

Yes!! I've done the same technique in pen. The flick also helps go from a solid flow of ink to a light one
