Excellent, it's great to get the stories behind our Southern Hemisphere riders and how they continue with the sport after racing, hope you get get more .
What a terrific interview. Baden has a great reputation as a terrific bloke and has been very approachable the couple of times i have met him at a bike coffee stop. But even more so this shows him to be a very clever businessman. Respect.
Amazing Aussie ingenuity going ahead in all areas of the sport. A big pat on the back to Baden. At times he's appeared to be, as a few others have, just a knock-about guy more interested in a good pair of sunnies than even a good preparation for racing. Great interview. All the best for Factor, Baden. Tom Moloney 8-)
Great interview and its great the way ex pro's carve a niche for themselves in this bizarre industry that is cycling. Baden knows how to win races and now bike deals 👍🏻
I'm really liking these "podcast" episodes. They're good to listen to while I'm doing other stuff. That said, IMO, it'd be good to minimise the visual stuff so anyone listening to it doesn't miss out on anything
Great interview,Maven. Interesting insight to what goes on. Nice to see you using two cameras. You have basically the same frame size and cut back and forth, switching screen direction each time, subject looking right then left.. Is this a jumping style you like? Do you not want to maintain the same screen continuity? Possibly one camera wide, one camera tight that you operated, maintaining the same screen direction? OK,I'll shut up...
yeah it is proper technique not to "cross the line" (face in different directions). It is much more important in dialogue where two people are talking. A wide shot and a closer shot from the same side would work better. The "mistake" is seen fairly often in pro broadcasting for single talking head, so done feel too bad. It is jarring and better not to do it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/180-degree_rule Enjoyable interview.
nobodiesbusiness Was thinking in my comment that our fine Director may have broken the rule as a creative choice. But I would still want to change the lens size to something tighter. Plus the background of cycling paraphernalia was a much nicer choice then the door. Next get some cool cut aways of that stuff to give more editing choices.

Great stuff Maven! This is the type of exclusive insight not covered by the major cycling websites. Kudos to you.

well done, most enjoyable. I would love to see an interview with Danny Clark to show how big track cycling was in Tassie and Vic. Cheers Ben
This was great. Still working my way through your older videos.

Nah this is a fair point. I thought about this in post, why I didnt go wide with one and tight with the other. Anyway, next time.
Cycling Maven Your quality is going up and up. Cheers
I would also suggest to lock the focus and exposure on the cameras so they aren't jumping around during the interview.

Great interview, top lad! Looking out for Factor Bikes and Cycling Clothing from their line - aesthetic and understated - Nice
This is a really interesting insight. Great interview. Thanks.
I've always liked this guy. Miss his personality in the races.
Loved the interview! I do think that you need to try and get some frames of you and the person you're interviewing.
With the "twin vane split down tube" I would have called it the Lickety Split.
Awesome interview. Minor issue with video/audio at 7:30.
Late because watching social spinner. Great interview
awesome mate a big thumbs up on this Vlog.
Great interview !
so how many bikes a year do factor sell.. as it top end, how do they fund it
Great job man, keep it up.
Great interview Mave. How did you hook up with Cook-e? Did you already know him? Cheers
Great interview, but cant get the factor site link to work?
Why is Factor not listed here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_bicycle_brands_and_manufacturing_companies ?
Is he still working with FACTOR - the company
Quote of the interview "even if its a 10-15 grand bike there is barely any margin"
So these bikes are the most aero UCI legal bikes in the world?
