as an American, I've never heard of "formula 1000". so forgive my ignorance. are these cars as fast, or faster than formula 1? f-1 has tons of restrictions. like tires for example. in F-1 they no longer allow full slicks, but instead use those "grooved" slicks. are these F-1000's v8? v10? v12? turbo charged? injected, or carb?
ihateliberals F1000’s can get up to 265 Kmh (165Mph) which is fast but F1 is still up to 330+KmH (200MpH) which is in a whole new league all together, If you were to make a ladder it would like: Formula 1 Formula 2 Formula 3 Formula 4 F1000 Formula Ford (There are heaps of other variations but that’s the basic)
@@pfidze ok thanks. the f-1 cars are amazing. everyone always talks about their acceleration. and they do have excellent acceleration. but to me, their braking ability is even better. when they can go from 0 to 205 mph, and back to zero in around 7-8 seconds. that's is just awesome!!

There is this incredible video where it shows the raw breaks heating up glowing bright red as it slows the axel and cooling down just as quick within milliseconds. It’s really incredible, F1 cars are extremely fascinating and to think they are limited by a rule book!!

These guys produce some awesome racing. It'd be really cool to see them on some east coast tracks thats for sure.

Formula 1000 cars have only 1 liter (1000cc) motor.
