I have the same plow and bucket attachments and have used them for about 15 years. Although I have broken and bend the universal mounting bracket ( the weak spot in the system) I would still recommend it. I’ve levelled land, build trails, hauled firewood and rocks, lifted tree stumps and even used it to clear a forested area for a 30x 32 foot garage. Just remember that it isn’t a Bobcat and won’t do the same things as a Bobcat, but with patience and time it will save you a lot of backbreaking work.

Thanks and welcome aboard! Unfortunately, that ATV with bucket system, my trailer, ramps, etc were all stolen 3 years ago next month. I do plan on replacing it all when the money comes.

That is a very handle bucket. I have the same one from swisher. Saved me a lot of manual work over the years. I also have the snow blade that hooks onto the same attachment since I'm in Michigan.
I suppose you don't have to worry about snow in your location.

Lambert Klein I have seen snow here in the desert, but only a dusting that was gone the following day. I love the bucket though, and have mastered it as you will see in later videos in the Homesteading the desert, the first 2 years playlist. I graded for my shipping containers, cleared brush, graded my roads and drives, and started digging a fish pond, a young other things. I also designed and built a drag sled grade that I tow behind the ATV, and have a video of it in use. Enjoy, and welcome aboard!

All you need now is the backhoe attachment for the back. Looks like a good reason for me the buy a ATV......I wish !

Welcome aboard! If you need more detail on the bucket and mount, let me know. I use it regularly now that I am moved out to my desert Homestead permanently. I'm happy to have it.

@@GBear Thank you. I run a tree service company in Western colorado, and I'm looking into ways of condensing my work rig. Instead of having two vehicles, I'm looking at getting a 500-700 cc 4wheeler that can be loaded on my flat bed in front of the dump box, pull brush, drag logs, and be loaded with wood to bring it to the truck/trailer for removal from the customers property. This bucket looks like a plausible option. I'll definitely let you know if I have anymore questions!
      Thanks again, Eric McGrew

Your video has helped me decide to purchase the exact same bucket and Swisher 2646 mounting system.
I own a 2004 Honda Foreman TRX450 FE. Can you tell me how much underneath clearance is left on your ATV after the mounting kit is installed? Thanks for sharing the video.

This ATV was stolen from G Bear. If spotted please notify the San Bernardino county California Sheriff's department.

Thanks Vicky! Don't hold your breath. When I called them about the theft a deputy showed up 6 days later, says, "OK, where are the tracks?" He dropped his camera in the dirt and stood on it until my friend Andy pointed it out, took pictures of the empty spaces where the atv and trailer were, and when I brought them a smart phone I found where the crooks loaded the atv onto the trailer, I never heard anything back, and the deputy never returned my calls.
But maybe, someone will see it in there travels and call it in.

What diameter is the axle/pin that marries to the mount kit?
What is the length of the pin? Im trying to see if my snow plow mount will be able to be used but wandered length and diameter of the axle bucket uses...

1/2" x 14" if I remember correctly. I no longer have that setup so I can't be sure, but I purchased the bucket kit and mount kit from Walmart online so you can probably get all the measurements from there. It was the Swisher universal mount kit, and they do sell a snow plow kit to switch out with the loader bucket.
