I was just thinking about how I still love this thing and remember it so fondly before it came out years later. Same with the "Manchester" and "Minehead" tracks. I already knew this one was gonna be on the album a week before it came out bc someone tried to reupload it and it got copyright blocked. But the grin that came across my face when the Minehead one came on right after it, don't think I'll ever forget that feeling. I still call it that cause the actual name is kinda insane
the album cut is good, but it'll never beat the memories of listening to this shit for three years, obnoxious crowd, grating reverb, clipping and all.
I don't know if this is the saddest commentary ever, or just the honest truth. I am in the same boat. Cheers, mate!
5:15 - 7:00 ... just something about it on this clip. doesn't hit you the same way on the album.
It's a different mix than the album version, for sure. There are hihats during that section that are not on the album edit. Not sure which I prefer.
oh my god... 5:31. this track is incredibly beautiful and intense, emotive. undoubtedly some of Richard D James' very best work out there imo. can't hear to hear the studio version

I pray this is on his new album SYRO-Metz. It could be XMAS_EVET10 [120][thanaton3 mix] the BPM'S ARE 120 and the track length is 10:31. Which matches this but you never know with RDJ its guess work. Edit Metz is track 2 !!!! :DDDDDDDD Music does not get any higher than this.

i was actually thinking the same thing about this that i read some review say about minipops when i first heard it a few months ago . You can hear some inspiration from his contempories in this like burialey vocals around 5:50. Not that it's bad, it actually makes the track sicker but i just wanted to bring it up.

It's interesting how he could probably release a single of just this song and sell it for $100 a copy and still sell out, yet he doesn't release a single thing. I have no clue what the truth is. I've heard this and that, most prominently that he is waiting for a divorce from his wife. How long does that take? He's always seemed a bit sadistic and seemed to enjoy the power and influence he has, so my gut feeling is that he just likes making everyone wonder and beg. But I don't really know at all.
I think it's worth it though. His music is awesome.
He just knows how annoying you are and doesn't want to give you any aphex acids.

He lives happily with his wife and kids... In fact his 5 year old son named his upcoming album. The confusion you feel is simply from the fact that he does not make music for you.. The reason you hear it is because by sharing you and everyone else can make his life easy and comfortable. He makes music like a mmo gamer plays wow.
