Family hike at Lick Creek Park! Testing out gear for a backcountry elk and deer hunt.

Trouper and I took the kids on a long hike through Lick Creek Park to train for a backpacking trip to Colorado for elk and deer hunting. (that video coming soon!) This was a great opportunity to test out some new gear including our ‪@kuiuultralight‬ backpacks. We stopped to identify some cool wildlife and search a dry creek bed for fossils and snake sheds.
