Hello Neighbor 2 wins 1. Graphics are very realistic like it is in our world. 2. In the original Hello Neighbor there is like a Invincible barrier not letting us explore the town however in Hello Neighbor 2 it makes sense being a closed tunnel. 3. It has more story to it and it brings back Hello Neighbor Hide and Seek vibes.
The graphics is the shinning part for sure!
But in my opinion was HN 1 More terrefying than HN2. In HN 1, when the neighbor was close to us, the screen Begins to shake and becomes black. The neighbor chases us down while in HN2 he stops every second. It makes it less creepy, unfortonatly.

It doesn’t look like the real world lol. It just has improved textures and a much improved lighting system. The art style isn’t supposed to he realistic though. Everything is still purposely cartoony and disproportionate.
Both games have pros and cons. Graphically HN2 wins, but I feel like HN2 also feels super inconsistent with the story and feels really isolated from the first. Meaning the world connections between the two aren’t accurate. Like Nicky’s house isn’t there, or the neighbor hood is vastly different with no explanation
I thought that HN2 plays far in the future because the neighbors house, in the alpha 1 looks so destroyed and old. But I was alos confused why the environment looks so different.

@@karlokesti9809 The HN2 location before the beta used to be another part of Raven Brooks that wasn't the same area as the first game area. The house was similar from the outside, but not the same. It's possible that the alpha HN2 house was a replica (probably built by The Guest.) It's not canon anymore though.

Pretty sure nickys house is the green house, we just cant go in it: Considering the treehouse, with yknow, the neighbors face on a dart board. Also pretty sure this is a more re-immagined version of raven brookes. Giving it more personality / detail. And nickys house in the animated show is green, instead of blue. And some details from the books also corroborate this. All this + I think, not much though was put into the actual world in hn1. (Besides, like faraway areas players couldn't even explore without finding the out of them map secrets / bugs, or the glitchy world minigame puzzle arg thing.
Hello neighbor 2 is really good, although it is strange that in act 2 the house became different with a giant wall and in this game it does not have any of that, it may also be the way Nicky sees how difficult it was to escape from the neighbor's house, or they just put it in the first game so it's not repetitive, it's also strange that Nicky's house isn't there :/
Edit: the neighbor's basement from the first game is just Nicky's imagination (sorry if I named the protagonist of hello neighbor 1 so much but it's very important)
Nicky’s house is the greenish house across the street, most likely because of the dartboard with the neighbor on it, that’s only possible if the house belongs to someone who had a run-in with good,ol Mr. Peterson.
I thought the neighbours house got destroyed though.. so how's it back in the new game?
I like Mr. Peterson's house in the second game more than the one in the first, but it has quite noticeable inconsistencies, but it is forgiven, considering that in the series the neighbor's house is practically the same as the one we see in the second game so we assume that this was always the canon design of the house, but something I can't forgive is that Nick Roth's house is not there, It is an inconsistency worse than the design of the neighbor's house itself because a house does not disappear and is replaced because yes :/ I would have liked Nick's house to be there the truth

Hello Neighbor 2 looks so much better than the first one. I liked the cartoony style in the first game, but HN 2's cartoony yet realistic style makes the game look so pretty.
Not to mention, we can look around the entire town, that's really cool.
HN2 has more realistic textures and models than HN OG did, it adds a lot more realism to the game I would say

I think both games are awesome.Hello Neighbor 1 is more like a funny non buggy game while Hello Neighbor 2 is actually really scary and is more like a horror game but is really buggy.Of course the sounds and quality of Hello neighbor 2 is better than Hello neighbor 1 but it will never beat the OG Goat game of Hello Neighbor 1!That's my opinion.
What u saying ? Hello neighbor 1 is more prone to bugs, that's why there are tons of way to speedrun it. Part 2 is more advanced

In my opinion Hello Neighbor 2 wins but only by a little bit, since to me at least, The First Hello Neighbor just felt more like a full actual game than Hello Neighbor 2 and there is a lot of great things about it.
Not really tho, it wasn't an actual full game. The story was really rushed

I know, I’m late, but there’s something I don’t really understand. I think, after hello neighbor act 2, the neighbor moved away. It was probably the neighborhood of Hello neighbor 2. But I didn’t read the books or watch the tv show of hello neighbor, so I don’t know any of that. I heard, that the player in hello neighbor 1, just imagined the walls in act 2 and the basement in act 1. But he probably can’t imagine a whole neighborhood. Also the house of the player is gone. (Maybe it’s the greenish house in hello neighbor 2) but overall the neighborhood and everything changed. Is there anyone, who could explain it to me?

I thought HN2 was a better game but it takes the whole Neighbour thing out of aspect. You are not really the neighbor anymore, but an investigator. I hope if they make a HN3 or even a DLC, they should add that sort of content back.

So I been a fan of hello neighbor since 2017. I have been waiting on a sequel for a decent amount of time. After some of the devlogs for hn2 I was pumped. But when hn2 came out oh boy.... The graphics and puzzles are basically the only things that were better then hn1. it's crazy how one ai is better then I think 7 ai's. Like the neighbor in hn1 off friendly mode ofc dosent care he'll try to get you. While the ai in hn2 Just give up if You walk a little faster😂😂😂. also let's talk about the ai in hn1 he actually has a routine. While hn2 every ai dosent they just repeat the two things they did over and over again. For instance the neighbor showers sleeps watch tv stretches taps the border of the map a bit. Or sits on his porch thinking. Now lets get into story hn2 story is well decent but since the ai are garbage. The immersion is pretty much broken. While in hn1 the story had so many Mysteries. Ane the story didn't Just tell You it. They made you piece it together. They also rewarded exploring to expand Your theories. Now hn2 is supper narrow like go to this neighbor if not the other houses are blocked off. also hn2 claims to be open world but yet the glitch world to explore hn1 is bigger then hn2.....

@@GamingwithACK I played Hello Neighbor 2 alpha 1.5. When I was at the end, Crow caught me and I lost all my things. HN 2 alpha is so difficult to pass.

Um, you can't unless you have XBOX game pass, but you can also go to illegal websites to download for free and I would NOT SUGGEST DOING THAT (they are illegal because you can download games that people worked hard on and then put it up somewhere for people to buy and play their fantastic game for absolutely FREE)
