    Where have you been hiding? Miss your videos

      😅I have been hiding at my day time job, so I can pay my bills. Boring, I know! 😄I have also moved and the weather has been terrible! Hope to be able to create something soon, though!

    Great video as always. It's a rainy night in North America so it was nice to feel like I didn't;t miss a night of imaging.

      Yes, you should come a long on a trip sometime. But now I will move to Skåne for a while though, so I guess I have to be used at bortle 8-9 skies..

    Haha...so the car is packed, that's for sure. Again some really lovely & beautiful nature footage. So nice to have a conversation next to the fire.. great video with fantastic final image again. And again I enjoyed your video very much. My best regards & clear skies.

    Beautiful image. Nice to see you had some company on this trip. I wasn't sure if you were having mustard with that sausage or a bit of sausage with your mustard 🤣

    • @NorthernPanorama

      Well, the best sausage is the one that is served to some impressive amount of mustard! 😅

    I was surprised to see the mention of my wife and I and the end of this video. That was a nice touch. Makes me feel a little bad for totally stealing your setup trick where you use your level to measure how far to extend your tripod legs. I used it tonight instead of just guessing and it made leveling my mount go a little quicker.

    • @NorthernPanorama
      @NorthernPanorama  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks a lot for your support! You should not feel bad stealing that little trick! 😀

    It turned out to be a very lamp video when I saw Sky Watcher Adventurer, smiled, it all started with him too .. Hello Olaf, What could be more beautiful than a company of like-minded people.

      I agree, it was nice with company. Most often I'm alone (I have managed to lure out my significant other a couple of times, but she's not so impressed)

    Nice image David. Nice to have company once in a while, especially with coffee and sausage! I have been trying to image the Helix nebula lately. A difficult target as it only gets to about 19 degrees in the southern sky for a few hours each night. The clouds in the southern sky also made me switch to northern sky targets! Oh well. I’ll keep trying! Thanks for your great videos. Love the music too. Dr B from Manitoba, Canada 🇨🇦

    Hi David!
    Been wanting to say hi for a while now! nice video, I don't know if I like the astro or your drone footage better, its gorgeous! How did your friends wide field came out, I bet on bortle 2 you can get some really nice shots with a modified DSLR. I like your gear now! I think is better than the astrograph newt. at least to my liking.
    Clear skies and keep them coming!!
    Edwin.

      @NorthernPanorama  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks a lot Edwin! I have not seen his result yet, I will ask him! I agree, this setup is great, I really like the WO-tube and it's easier to carry around!

    Awesome David! I really admire your persisternce in going out in the cold wildernes! Have a personal record of beeing out for 4 hrs in -16 degrees C here in Arvika, and that is probably not even close to your temperatures up in Norrbotten

      @NorthernPanorama  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Daniel! During mid-winter, it's not uncommon that the temp drops below -30°C. It could be a little bit tough for the gear!

    So you've been using the refractor for a while. Can you compare and contrast this with you MN190 scope? Does the refractor give you better results?

    • @NorthernPanorama
      @NorthernPanorama  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the refractor gives a slightly better result, but I think some has to do with the crappy focuser on the MN190. The WO has also a lot better build quality and feels very sturdy. But, with a good focuser the MN190 would be great.

    Do you take 97 north when you go to the Bortle 2 area?

    • @NorthernPanorama
      @NorthernPanorama  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you're right! Have you been driving there? I then turn left in Harads, drive over the Lule river and on a gravel road that heads to Kåbdalis.

    This might be a silly question but without WiFi signal out there, how are you able to connect your Ipad to your ASI Air?

    • @NorthernPanorama
      @NorthernPanorama  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No question is too silly! The Asiair has its own WIFI and I also use a small router to amplify the signal!

      @Safestassets 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NorthernPanorama Oh! So you dont need internet at all to use it?
